Comments: The location was indeed great, but that\'s about it.... The windows are so thin that you feel like sleeping on the noisy streets, consequently you can not really heat up the room (a monumental house, but still...). The furniture of the room was quite disappointing particularly with regard to the price (lights were falling apart and did not work). The bathroom had not been cleaned before arrival. Breakfast was not served on the day of departing and face-to-face check out was not possible since nobody was in the office. By the way: DO NOT park your car at the Transferium as recommended. Somebody broke into our car and stole everything... especially self made cd\'s. Who does that? Even though it was video controlled and guarded. Best way to get to Amsterdam: BY TRAIN!!!

Comments: No better location to live Amsterdam as it is. right in the middle of the old centre surrounded by coffeshops, restaurants, walking distance from everywhere. Laid back staff and huge breakfast. Cool!!!

Comments: The Eve's Guest house is simply perfect! The staff is great and the installations are excellent and very clean. The breakfast is also very good. My onlu compalint is about the Trav.com that made a confusion regarding the booking dates, but it was properly corrected by the hotel. They are very professional. Once again, the hotel is great and I really recommend it.

Comments: Eve has a variety of homes she uses for B&B. We believed we were staying right in the heart of Amsterdam near Dam Square. Unfortunately we found ourselves on the edge of the ring road, about 20 minutes walk from Dam Sq. at the end of the 7 bridges. Nevertheless, our host turned out to be a lovely lady who wasn't expecting us! If cats or cigarette smoke bother you, don't stay here. If not, it's clean with a very comfortable bed in a respectably sized room.

Comments: The staff was very laid back. We stayed here our 1st 3 nights in the city and it was the best of the 4 places we stayed. The weather wasn\'t great, so it was nice to have a place to rest in between the museums and shops.

Comments: Just got back from the dam...and can honestly say this is top accomodation, I read lots of reviews before booking this place and they all mentioned its exceptional character - which is 100% true, it is like staying at your favourite auntys rather than some clinical or grotty hotel. There are also some very cool bars and restaurants right on that street, be sure to take full advantage of the owners top tips for a more alternative amsterdam

Comments: It was a suprise that we had to get the keys from the Gays and Gadgets shop because we weren\'t informed to do so. Our room was really nice and the bath tub was a nice suprise as well. The breakfast that was served was really great and we enjoyed it much. The hotel is situated in the Red Light District but it was close to the Main Station. I recommend everyone to lend a bike for a day and head to Marken and the fields north from Amsterdam - it was really beautiful!

Comments: great place with basic necessities. location couldn't be better. staff were fantastic. cleanliness is an issue to us and eve's was spotless. if we stay there again we'd choose the front street facing room. great value for money. oh - the front door lock . . . you'll get used to it but girls struggle.

Comments: Clean, cozy and comfortable. Staff really friendly. Location excellent for access to Central Station, Dam Square, shopping and sights, but quiet at night. Plenty shops and coffeeshops in easy walking distance. Would recommend. Steep stairs though and you have to go into Gay Porn Shop below to collect keys!! ... All part of the experience!!
