Twas a quick midweek touchdown for myself and my boyfriend, perhaps hard to judge the atmosphere as twas pretty quiet.Kitchen setup was nice with tea, coffee and toast always on tap.Would recommend for sure :)

It's not far from the sights, although there isn't a whole lot to do in Manchester. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Laundry facilities would be nice (or even knowledge of one close by). I walked to the YHA to use their laundry facilities!!

That was very humiliating and disappointing. The staff also was very rude in this regards. They were treating us as if we were staying there for free.

Given that internet access is advertised as a special feature of the hostel, the price was too high.

No curtains whatsoever which wasnt good, especially as my room was directly opposite a large building encircled by scaffolding and builders were looking into the hostel windows, particularly embarrassing first thing on a morning. Also, I dont want to nitpick, but the bread/orange juice was the cheapest, but on the whole, good clean basic accommodation which I would probably use again.
