Comments: Excellent location - only 5mins walk from city centre, super clean rooms and showers, lovely and warm, helpful staff. Twas a quick midweek touchdown for myself and my boyfriend, perhaps hard to judge the atmosphere as twas pretty quiet.Kitchen setup was nice with tea, coffee and toast always on tap.Would recommend for sure :)

Comments: The staff, location, cleanliness and security were perfect. The only thing about rooms is the heating system that the room was cold a little bit.

Comments: Nice hostel, good location, and the staff were very helpful - only problem was the noise from the street and the loud music from the nearby clubs Thursday-Sunday nights.

Comments: Nice possie in the northern quarter. Head to the Night and Day cafe/bar around the corner for some wicked coffees and live music. I would reccommend this hostel to my mates for sure

Comments: This was a decent hostel. It's not far from the sights, although there isn't a whole lot to do in Manchester. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Laundry facilities would be nice (or even knowledge of one close by). I walked to the YHA to use their laundry facilities!!

Comments: Its unfortunate how they turned away my bestfriend for not having their stupid pass for past 11. We just planned on chatting in the lounge but apparently that is too much to ask... not fun...

Comments: no bar or any big lounge-type area. during my stay a fairly diverse crowd from throughout europe, and of course, some aussies. good place all around, easy to get to trains/buses. and for a pretty good price, too.

Comments: The location is near the main bus station, you can reach easily the center just walking; also the possibility to cook what you want together with other people and by exchanging ideas and recipes places value on this beatiful hostel...moreover, I have found the staff very kind....the only negative thing that happened to me is to have neghbours a bit noisy and loving parties during the night...but they told me to advertise them if they were going overboard...

Comments: We had a friend come over to meet us, but was not allowed into our room. That was very humiliating and disappointing. The staff also was very rude in this regards. They were treating us as if we were staying there for free.

Comments: Great location, friendly and very helpful staff... A bit noisy, but not to bad... Very useful internet cafe that's priced very fairly. Nice kitchen and dinning area. free taost and hot drink 24/7, but that's all you get for breakfast, wich is handy, but not great...

Comments: It's a pity that the internet connection did not work. But it is even worse that the staff and even the hotel manager did not take any steps to change that, even if a lot of people asked for internet. Given that internet access is advertised as a special feature of the hostel, the price was too high.

Comments: Comfortable bed tho' I would have liked to have had option of another pillow. No curtains whatsoever which wasnt good, especially as my room was directly opposite a large building encircled by scaffolding and builders were looking into the hostel windows, particularly embarrassing first thing on a morning. Also, I dont want to nitpick, but the bread/orange juice was the cheapest, but on the whole, good clean basic accommodation which I would probably use again.

Comments: This place was very clean, but extremely noisy! Staff were generally good, need to communicate the luggage storage policy more clearly between staff members. Received a few mixed messages at the end there.
