Was thinking that there was going to be some sort of security when our neighbors spend the night drinking until 1 am and no one was to be scene. The reception lady said that it was my responsibility to tell the group of people to quiet down? People were sleeping in the tv room the next day and it look like they had been staying there for a few weeks. would not recommend this hostel. way over priced for a double bed...

The kitchen was filthy dishes all over the place no cutlery or crokery available (cutlery could be hired for $10!)

We weren't impressed with the womens customer service at front counter on the sunday the 5th, when we were checking out. But we had a great time there

Location was brilliant and that made up for the few bad points like stuffy room that let in mozzies when u had to leave the window wide open for air and loud bar sounds from next door but you just couldn't beat the location - close to shops, train, supermarket, cheap internet and cheap Asian restaurants and you felt very safe walking in that area at night as it was so busy all the time. The bathrooms were clean aswell.

Possibility to lock lockers in bedroom with padlocks is good. Central location. Nice and friendly staff. A bit unclean facilities (kitchen, tvroom and computer room). Internet access is expensive.

There's two supermarkets nearby, and it was an easy walk over the bridge to the art galleries and the more interesting cafes. The rooms and beds all look nice and new, and it is air-conditioned. One area for improvement: there seemed to be many broken vending machines and bags of washing or garbage on each floor - these should be cleared away.

Staff changes often--some were friendly and helpful, others not so much. Without a bar to hang out, it's not as easy as other hostels to meet other people. The movie theater room is great though, especially considering the rainy weather we had. I would definitely suggest this place to someone looking for a reasoble place for low prices.
