Kameya Ryokan is a small, family-run Japanese style inn. We will help you make your trip in Osaka most enjoyable. We are located on Osaka waterfront. Enjoy easy access to the center of Osaka down town, Kobe, Nara and even Kyoto!! Our location is very convenient and safe. We are just 2 minutes walk from the nearest subway station, a convenience store is just across the street and police box (the Koban) is within a minute walk.

We are within walking distance to Kaiyu-kan (a famous aquarium with the biggest capacity of water-tank in the world). Suntory Museum and Tenpozan Park are nearby. We are also close to USJ (Universal Studio Japan).

Facilities include communally used bath, privately used bath, toll parking (4 cars) and laundry. Rooms are with TV and air-conditioning. Amenities are towels, Yukata (Japanese light robe) and slippers. Shampoo, rinse, and toothbrush are also provided.
If you order meals, Japanese ordinary dishes are provided. Breakfast is 700yen / Dinner is 1500yen.

Check-in time : From 3:00PM - Midnight
Check-out time : Until 10:30AM
Curfew : Midnight
** We are closed between Dec 30th and Jan.1st.**

1.
As backpackers, we felt a little out of place at this more couply ryokan, but it was a welcome change of pace after staying at more traditional backpacking hostels. This place is very quiet and has a midnight curfew, so it won't be for you if you're looking to get loaded on Spring Break. However, if you are looking for a peaceful place to get a good rest in relatively inexpensive private rooms, this place is great. It also gave us a chance to experience what a Japanese inn is like (floor mats, Japanese rooms, green tea in our rooms, etc). The owner is very friendly. This place is also very close to the aquarium.

Friendly staff and nice atmosphere
