Comments: Some of the information on the internet are incorrect, for an example there is no restaurant at the hotel, just a breakfast room. Another problem for us who are not so very good at german where that none of the staff did speak a word of english. Besides that it was a quite friendly hotel with a nice location close to Kurfürstendamm and the Zoo.

Comments: Beautiful old building in west berlin near to the design district, shopping district and gay district. Little pricey in a city where east berlin hotels are so cheap but still good. The lady at the front desk coul only speak german so prepare yourself for a slower than usual discussion if you can't speak german.

Comments: Very small hostel with very small walls. Between 25-30C (77-86F) the entire time. When the first guest decided to get up, all other guests (at least me) was awakened.

Comments: not much english had here, luckily i have enough german to get by. the hotel was a good bit away from the middle although the sbahn station is just around the corner. the directions are a bit lacking, we were wandering around a bit trying to figure out what way to go. from the main station get any sbahn that leaves from the platform with sbahns heading towards \"spandau\", get off at savignyplatz and exit in the direction of kantstrasse (the signs have arrows pointing which exit to take), turn right as you leave the station and when you get to the corner go right and the hotel is along that part of the road. there\'s a sign hanging out from the wall, quite visible. :)

Comments: Had a private ensuite singel room. The room wasn\'t very big, but I can\'t se that matter much. The bathrooms were spotless, rooms quiet, nice breekfast, a few minutes walk from Zoologischer garten. As a single traveller you can\'t get better value for money then this.

Comments: Highly reccomended! Amazing Brekkie. All you can eat, at a quality you'd pay to get at a cafe. Perfectly clean! Spotless Bath room! The rooms were HUGE with high ceilings, it had a tiny 35 chan cable tv which was mounted in a corner, if it werent for the GIANT pillow i woulnt have been able to see it. Comfi Bed The ladies(babooshkas) speak Russian & German. little english, but cmon, Easy to over come.

Comments: Do Not Stay Here if you don't speak German or Russion. I read the reviews that said they didn't speak any English but still gave it a shot thinking we'd be fine. But as ALWAYS when traveling something un-exptected came up and it was a huge hassle to figure it out. I will not stay here again. If you speak German it's in a nice area with lots of restaurants!

Comments: Hostel is situated in an old building with spacious rooms. Rooms could be a bit cleaner though. The hostel serves unbelievably rich breakfast!!! But the minus is that staff is speaking German and Russian and really poor English. The location is perfect! There are lots of different small restaurants and bars nearby. Subway is just around the corner and even walking the center is some minutes away.

Comments: Very, very nice people running the hotel, no problems whatsoever, I wish I had this type of service in any place I stay at. Moreover, the room was better than in the photos, absolute surprise. The location is a bit off the center, but literally 2 minutes from S-Bahn station so it wasn't a problem for us. Other people have commented that staff doesn't speak English which is true, but they speak Russian if you're better at it than at German (fortunately I speak German :-) Important detail: you can leave your luggage on the day you're leaving and pick it up until 21:00 so you don't have to pay deposit at the railway station. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised, I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and quiet stay.

Comments: L'hotel è ottimamente servito dalla metropolitana ed è ottimo il rapporto qualità-servizio/prezzo. Possono esserci piccoli problemi di comprensione con lo staff: solo una persona parla inglese.

Comments: Very old building shared between the hotel, on the first two floors, and regular residence, on all the other floors. They seem to be reforming, but the old art noveau architecture gives it a very vintage feel. The staff are willing to help, but only know german, so beware foreigners.

Comments: Great location, lots of cool bars and restaurants around the square in Savignyplatz. Tip, if you get the S9 from Schonfield ariport, get off at Savignyplatz stop, just after Zoo, as it's just around the corner from the Hostel.

Comments: Fantastic breakfast, but rooms given to us were twin beds joined in a straight row instead of a double bed that we booked. Rooms are small but considered cosy.
