But unfortunately, our otherwise beautiful ground floor room had a window that looked out on to a tiny light well that was full of boilers/air con equipment - so the room felt very claustrophobic. Otherwise, a very nice hostel. Nice staff.

No kitchen, no free acces to internet, no breakfast but amazing double bedrooms with lot of character and charm. Actually, it's a wonderful little hotel not to expensive!

The location is 10 mins walking away from the Cathedral so was quite OK. Overall its a nice place with a very good price-quality ratio.

I stayed there with a friend and every other hostel we lived in after that just looked like a dump. It would be an immense improvement, however, if this hostel provided at least a frugal breakfast and a laundry service.

Wish we could have booked for another day, but our previous plans couldn´t change. Two excellent outdoor restaurants 2 minute walk from hostal. Fun walking around.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating USA 18th March 2008 Couple 41+ 4/5 Comments: This was great value for the money, very clean, etc. The staff were also very helpful and the room far and away had the best tv of the whole trip, a large wall mounted lcd screen. The bathroom was lovely with a great shower. The one problem was that the bed seemed to be at least 3 1/2 feet off the ground and was very difficult for me, a short person, to get in to. It was not very comfortable either. I don't think all the rooms had such high beds.

Very nice atrium lobby also attractively decorated. Central location. Hostal also has a private car park if you ask them - useful for us, we had a car. Very cheap for what it offered given plushness. Negatives: Not a lot, really. We didn't see or speak to any other guests while we were there so if you want a more communal backpackers sort of feel then don't go there, this is more civilised and posh.
