| Comments: The hostel is great! Very cosy, the staff is friendly and helpful. The only issue is the shower. Not only is it too small, but people actually have to change on the wet floor, what turns taking a shower into quite a challenge. Apart from that I would definitely recomend it to other backpackers! Cheers! |

| Comments: Wonderful hostel, very clean and spacious. Maybe make the pool table free to improve sociability in the lounge area? |

| Comments: I was very impressed by how clean the hostel was. I also liked that there were plenty of toilets and showers for everyone. It was nice to be able to check out an alarm clock--nice touch! |

| Comments: Overall the hostel is quite good, especially the free internet.
But the breakfast has little choice; Also, the bath facility is quite bad -- water is not hot, it\'s disaster in the winter time |

| Comments: Great hostel, location very easy to find, excellent shower and the first hostel I went where they had cappucino at breakfast!
Only minor point is that they could a little better in dusting of the rooms, big flakes of dust in the ventilator in the shower. |

| Comments: A wonderfully comfy bed, huge lounge with snuggly sofas to chill in, and the option of a bar should I have wanted to get up... for me this hostel was the place to pause and recharge my batteries. A greaty stay, thanks! |

| Comments: it was a great hostel, i enjoyed every minute of it. although had much more rules than other hostels but that wasnt in anyway impeeding, they were also extremely flexible and helpful for my needs.
i am thinking of booking to stay with them for my next few trips to london however it is unfortunate that mixed dorms are much more expensive than the standard dorms as it means mixed sex groups travelling are impeeded slightly by the cost |

| Comments: it was good, but to take a big room with 17 other travellers mustn't be.only 2 showers for about 20people isn't really great, but this is only in the big rooms. all in all very good.I would go there again. The underground is really near. |

| Comments: One of the better hostels I've stayed in London. Location not in city center but close to tube stations. Breakfast spread limited but sufficient with cereal, oatmeal, toast and hot beverage selection.
Female dorms (attached baths) in basement ok with 3 showers and 2 toilets. Sink very tiny for washing, best to use the shared ones outside. Close to Waitrose grocery store and Marks and Spencer plus several other cafes and shops.
Would book with them again in near future. |

| Comments: Palmers Lodge was not at all what we were expecting it to be. It sounds much more comfortable and inviting on the website. The Lodge is a good place for big groups but definitely not for couples or smaller groups of travelers. The community bathrooms are pretty gross, the showers don't drain well and there are only 2 sinks. Our room was not cleaned nor was the linnen changed any of the 4 nights we were there.
The Lodge was loud and we found the people to be unfriendly. Tameer, at the front desk, was very hospitable and extremely helpful, however, we arived less than 20 minutes late to check out and the woman working the desk was seriously about to charge us for another night. I would not tell anyone to go here unless you are a large group and need big accomodations. Palmers Lodge was the most expensive hostel we stayed at and it was the least grattifying.
Too expensive for what it actually is and not clean enough. |

| Comments: Our room was very small but it was clean. We could hear the people next door to us very easily and the shower was in the a small area connected with the toilet which meant everything got wet when you showered. Free breakfast was good, dinner meals cheap and reasonable, staff were helpful and there was a great atmosphere. |

| Comments: second stay at Palmers Lodge and I'm still thrilled by that place, I'm already thinking about my third trip to London and I certainly won't change the hostel; love the bar and the people, great facilities (even though the toilet paper is just WRONG in my book but I guess that's just London) for a good price and I'll definitely recommend it to other travellers |

| Comments: the rooms on the 3rd floor need some adjustment during the winter season: the window wouldnt close properly and there was only one small heating device in the whole room. Nonetheless the room was cosy and the duvet guaranteed a warm night. |

| Comments: The showers were incredible small and hard to get in and out of. We stayed in 2 different rooms- one on the first floor that had curtains around the beds, and one on the basement level that didn't have the curtains. Not sure why some rooms have them and some don't. |

| Comments: Palmers Lodge is really a nice place, the best Hostal I´ve ever been.
The living room is confortable and it has a big screen. The bar downstairs is also great. Is a good detail that the Breakfast is included.
The rooms are big and clean.
When the Hostal is full Showers are not enouhg and they were a little durty but passable.
In general terms, really really recomendable. |
