HOWEVER - if you would appreciate a beautiful, large, clean room which has been lovingly decorated and styled, located just two minutes from everything in Forio including restaurants, supermarkets, shops, cafes, the port, gelato, etc. etc. then you should definitely stay here. It isn't super cheap, but then nothing in Italy seems to be. The staff here are the most welcoming and friendly people, even though their english wasn't up to much. They speak German and Italian though, if your skills stretch to that. Also, unlike our accomodation in Sorrento, which I would not recommend in a pink fit, this was a really quiet location.

Even though we got there early the owner made us some cafe and put our backpacks away. There was the best kitchen for our use and right around the corner a perfect little bakerie with the best cookies ever! Did I mention hot brioche and fresh croissants delivered to your door for breakfast?

Mimi the owner went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The location is exceptional, 5 minutes from the port and 2 minutes from the lively part of Forio. Our accomodation was extremely clean with fresh sheets and towels every day. It was extremely peaceful and we were amazed by the size of the accomodation, definately the biggest we received anywhere. Breakfast was fresh bread from the bakery beside and the nicest coffee you will ever drink. I am so happy to have found a place like this, it is a diamond and the island is the perfect setting.
