It is located very close to the beach and shops. There was no common room or kitchen but I this was made up for by the spacious dorm room (there were table and chairs in the room) and a microwave in the room. I would definately stay again.

I think it needs a sink where the wc is and hand soap in the bedroom where the sink is. Other than that, everything is good. Takes about 5-10 min walk to the beach. I would stay here again and less than 5 min to the train statin.

Location close to the buzz of the city (tho we didnt like that our room mates came back 2.30am from their night out!). Security good to enter the hostel and the room. Free Wi-fi quality great. Fridge/freezer/microwave available in the rooms! Cons: No lockers in the rooms. The place looks old (eg showers needed some maintenance). No common room, making it difficult to eat or cook when others sleep.

However, changed room, and apparently forfeited our deposit. Still confused... Nice shower. On second night, stayed in a double room, which only had a three quarter sized bed. Other than that, quite nice. Walls very very thin; annoying when the dorms are fully booked and when people return from clubs at 3am.

The owner and his wife were very welcoming and always able and willing to answer questions. The only problem I had, although it was simply an unwarranted fear, was that they did not have lockers in the room. You could lock things up in the office, but that was a bit inconienient. Other than that, a great place to stay!

But if you want to meet people you may be better off going to one of the bigger hostels as there is no common room. It is however very close to the train station and only about a 15 min walk to the beach, great budget hotel.

Our dorm was big enough to host some fun though! I have never met a more helpful owner. He was great! The free internet is great and the place was always really clean. After 5 days we did get a bit over the long walk to the beach and bars. Overall, a really lovely place.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Canada 29th August 2008 Female 18-24 3/5 Comments: When you first go into the building it's UBER sketchy. there are no lights, no reception desk and a random old elevator to nowhere. but once you get upstairs, it's really cute and the people are really friendly. they let you use their laptop to use the free wi-fi, and they even lend you a beach towel for free! the rooms are clean, outlets, showers...no lockers though. i would stay here again, it's right on the main road, litteraly 1/2 a block from the train station.
