| Comments: Breakfast room looks lovely, the room we stayed in was small but it did the job and the bathroom was infact a good size. Nice place to stay if all your looking for is a room for 1 night or 2. Only complaint is that the matress and sheets apeared a bit old and dirty. |

| Comments: I didn't think the location was the greatest compared to the Backstage hotel which I later moved to. The stairs are steep, the staff is nice but dont ask them for directions... the breakfast pretty much kicks ass. It was clean and close enough to the tram, food, laundry, and internet. I highly recommend the taco shop down the street along the perpendicular canal :) |

| Comments: We booked it the day before and it was quite decent. Too far away from amsterdam, but you reach the city in 20-25 minutes with the bus number 4(i think). The chinesse receptionist wanted to kick our ass, we didn\'t let him sleep during all day. It wasn\'t our fault, it was raining. At the reception there is a bottle with candy, take as much as you want, he will put more and more each hour. |

| Comments: The hotel is located far from the city center. The neighborhood is strange (not safe for a girl alone). When I came the WiFi connection was broken, I got a room with the bed not changed. During the stay I heard that some money suddenly disappeared from people's room. Strange atmosphere and weird smell. I do not recommend at all unless it's your the very last chance to find a hotel in Amsterdam in high season!! |

| Comments: The Guy at the desk was pretty helpful. You always get that feeling there that they are trying to get as much money from you as possible. They charge extra money for everything they can. |

| Comments: The description of the hotel should contain the fact, that parking on the streets is very expensive in that area (20€ for a day-ticket). That was a bad surprise at the arrival. |

| Comments: TINY rooms, rude staff, surprise extra charges (5% tourist tax and 5% charge for using visa), broken bikes for rent. Wouldn't bother with a repeat visit |

| Comments: Nice relaxing stay. Not too close to the center but this can be solved by the tram. Nice staff and many english tv channels; |

| Comments: Really good breakfast. I was a solo traveller staying in a single room with a shared bathroom (though I don't think I was actually sharing with anyone). They provide towels, which was good. |

| Comments: Not much character.
Security is over the top.
Location is beautiful in the neighbourhood there, IFF you want something outside the centrum.
Staff is surly and dour.
Not as clean as it could be. |

| Comments: The hostel is quite far from downtown so you are not within walking distance of many places but that is solve by the tram, however they charged us for a city tax that was not specified when making the reservation. However, the rooms were clean and the staff was nice but if you want to be in the middle of everything, this is not the place. |

| Comments: BEST BREAKFAST EVER! The rooms were a little small but the staff was helpful and the free breakfast was excellent. It is close to a tram stop and if you want to walk its only about 40 minutes to the city center. |

| Comments: We asked the staff to not clean our rooms because the rooms were tiny and we didnt want them tramping on our things. They didnt listen to us and the house cleaning stole a lot of money from us. The staff was very rude about the situation and gave us no compensation. They showers and bathrooms are not very clean and the hotel in general is not secure. The only good thing is they have a pretty good breakfast, but its not worth the trouble of staying there. |

| Comments: The rooms are small and very outdated but are cosy. The place is also quite old. The main issue is that there was no map to locate our street because it was too far out! So we ended up just catching a tram and hoping for the best. The breakfast was fantastic and generous. I recommend this place if nothing else closer to the action is available. |

| Comments: The Hotel was a little bit far from the centrum... and unfortunately the information 'incl. in price: Parking' seemed to be a mistake done by the receptionist, who also seems to be the admin in there ;-)
So - if u wanna park infront of the hotel u should calculate 2,20 Euro/h - or buy a day-ticket which is around 20 Euro.
Beside this I was quite impressed by the simple but clean washroom and the great breakfast. |

| Comments: the map given in the trav webpage isnt correct..we wasted 2hours to look for this bl00dy dolphin wannabee hotel..we ended up by buying the amsterdam map, or else, we might be sleeping in the car.. anyways, it provided a very nice room for our one day stay in amsterdam...the internet was so damn expensive!!!10 minutes for 1euro..think about it..
recommended as well!!! |

| Comments: I was pretty happy with the hotel. It was cheap, reasonably clean, quiet, close to downtown (just down the street from a stop on Tram #4 that heads downtown every 10-15 min) and in a friendly and safe neighbourhood. Breakfast was good, lots of healthy food with multiple choices. They have WiFi access for free (although it went down twice during my stay). |
