Comments: Hotel Montevecchio was a great little hotel/hostel. You definitely get your money's worth. Its very centrally located and was very near the train station and the main street in Turin. The staff was also very amazing, very helpful and nice. The free breakfast was delicious. They do watch your bags for you if you get in early or if you leave late on check out day, so thats another plus. My only concern is it might be a little bit sketchy if you are walking back to the hotel/hostel at night alone. I was with my sister, but the streets to get there, though close to main attractions are a bit dark and not well lit. Overall I would most definitely stay there again, a great little place.

Comments: 50 € for a single in Turin seems like a good deal. The center is an extended walking distance away - but there's the Nr 15 tram that will take you right to the Palace square. If you want a real good meal, go to "Giovanni" a few streets away, and don't miss the cinema museum, even if you're not into movies! You'll see!

Comments: Great hotel for a great price! It is also very close to Porta Nuova which is the main train station. Also only a ten to fifteen minute walk to the city center.

Comments: Perfect low budget hotel. I just needed a place to sleep before catching an early plane, and it was ideal. Not a hostel environment, but clean and with a really helpful and friendly staff. Located really close to Porta Nuova station. I don't know much about the area, but it was certainly convenient. Oh, and breakfast was nice.

Comments: The hotel montevechhio staff were SO nice and helpful. Free breakfast was very good (pasteries, cereal, fruit, coffee, etc)! Sadly most things in Torino are closed in august though so it was kind of a boring city...

Comments: Great place but certainly not a budget accomodation. Really close to the train station so a good place to stop in transit. Breakfast was included in the cost of the room and was ample.
