Instead of a room you get an apartment, and a huge breakfast in the morning. The location couldn't be better, just ten minutes walk from the centre, including Juliette's house and the Arena. Beautifully restored, a real Italian home. Our host, Giovanna, was fantastic-with her fab breakfasts. Highly recommended to all.

The "room" in fact consisted of a bedroom, bathroom and sitting room, all of which were spotless. La senora was lovely; very helpful and endlessly patient with my hopeless Italian (her English is excellent by the way). Casa Carducci has a perfect location; very close to the centre and easily walkable in 5 minutes, but far enough out that there isn't all the noise of traffic. There is a superb trattoria just around the corner for la cena. I would most highly reccomend Casa Carducci for anyone travelling to Verona.

It is a family home with the family living there but you have your own space. The rooms are beautiful and full of character and spotlessly clean. The lady of the house provided a gastronomic delight for breakfast and the family are extremely friendly. It was a delight to stay there. I would not hesitate in recommending Residenza Carducci, hopefully we will be staying there again.

Das Frühstück ist fantastisch. Die Busanfahrt vom Bahnhof ist etwas anstrengend, wenn es sehr heiß ist, bei mehreren Leuten lohnt die Taxifahrt von Porto Nuova für ca. 8 Euro, finden wir. Innenstadt ist per Fußweg zu erreichen, Informationsmaterial gibt es im Hause und die Dame des Hauses hilft gerne mit allen Fragen. English fluently.

The owners were very hospitable, approachable and available to answer any questions about Verona. Was very close, walking distance, to the Romeo and Juliet house. The owner offers a great breakfast. The room was immaculately kept. Very clean. The bathroom and bedroom we stayed in were large and well-maintained. Excellent B & B. Highly recommend.

The house has a lot of character. Giovanna is an excellent hostess, fantastic breakfast with home made marmalade! It is within 5 minutes from the main attractions but quiet. My husband and I loved the place and would probably be back for when we visit Venice. We already miss it!

Large room which was spotless. Breakfast included in rate, and was a proper breakfast, eaten with the family at their dining table! Friendly dog and cat made this feel like home. Location great too. The appartment is fantastic, the breakfasts were 1st class and the hospitatlity was great. There's a fantastic Ossteria only 50 yeards from the Residenza and you're only 5 - 10 minutes walks from all the key venues in Verona.

Breakfast was lovely and served in the main house, which gave us a glimpse of what a Veronese house is like behind the inconspicuous front wall - beautiful!

We were surprised to be put in a little apartment, complete with a kitchen, and plasma tv and very clean bathroom. The staff was amazing, but be sure to book in advance, the wife who runs this b&b says she's only free a few more nights this summer. It was wonderful!
