| Comments: Had a great stay here; Japanese style bath, small but nice rooms, and friendly staff made it a very pleasant stay. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap but comfortable and pleasant night's stay |

| Comments: Located in an area a bit far from everything, but I enjoyed my stay here. There is a nice common area with free internet access over looking a leafy courtyard. This place is good value for money if one is after cheap lodging in Tokyo. |

| Comments: Room was small but clean and fine. Everything was a bit worn out looking, but the staff were very nice and it was quite cosy. Bit further from the station than I expected though! |

| Comments: My room smelled musty even when I turned on the A/C. I found the showers not as clean as described. Many other hotels in area. Was very happy with neighbourhood. |

| Comments: about 1km from metro. keisei line eg.from airport to Ueno station then 2 stops metro. the room was clean and japanese style-small, compact, just enough room to swing a cat, clean sheets, towel, dressing gown, slippers supplied:futon on tatami, grain filled pillow,tv in room,air-con control could do with western instructions.washrooms clean, toilets adequate, showers could be a little cleaner (floor), (not available on every floor). no extra charge for internet.shops next door.quiet night. busy, live suburb. helpful staff. lots of international visitors. good price for single room.all more than adequate. better than most hostels and their dorms. |

| Comments: Nothing special. I can only remark about my room, but it was dingy and smelly. The common room was great though and all the guests hung out into the wee hours of the night. Simply for the plethora of other great options in Tokyo, I would probably not stay here again. |

| Comments: i wouldn\'t stay again. it\'s pretty much a cheap hotel with shared showers. bathrooms terribly laid out. area is odd. mostly old males hanging out in the area. I\'d stay at one of the hostels again, they\'re great. |

| Comments: Very friendly, helpful staff. It's easy to meet fellow travelers in the cosy lounge. Every Thu-night there's a gathering with chatting, drinks & snacks; great opportunity to talk to some native Japanese ppl. Rooms are plain, well isolated (regarding sound) and airco'd. Clean toilets and showers. Relaxing in the bathhouse on top floor after a long day is a BIG plus! All in all I'd really recommend this place, I'll sure return here. |

| Comments: Online directions are a little off. Once you get off the JR, there are TWO ways to leave the station... not one. Go out the left and immediatly turn left. Follow the path until you can cross over the train tracks going left. Cross the overpass, go straight, and you'll eventually see it after about two big streets.
Also, if there is a party on the 1st floor (as there was when I was there), you can hear the noise from a room on the 2nd floor. Not good. |

| Comments: Very helpful and friendly staff. The rooms were cleaned and linen was changed every other day. Rooms are small but clean. Nice Japanese "ofuro" (bath) on the 10th floor. Unfortunately it was hard to spot Mt.Fuji from the elevator, maybe it was too cloudy when I was there. Some dodgy old men walking around, however they were only there in the day time for some reason.. Overall, great place, and its cheap. |

| Comments: What a GREAT PLACE to stay. The rooms were perfect, toilets a little odd but clean and the showers hot and powerful.
THE STAFF WERE AMAZING and gave me so much advice. The area isnt touristy, it does have a few old drunk men hanging out, but they are actually really friendly!! Its a great walk to the river and to Ueno. The staion accesses anywhere you want, I LOVED IT!!! You felt like you were in Japan and not some hideous tourist resort. |

| Comments: The hostel is located about a 5 minute walk from the Hibiya subway line, which runs directly into the heart of the city. Aside from the area not seeming that exciting, the staff certainly do their best to make everyone feel at home, i.e. social gatherings in the hotel lobby after the 1AM curfew. There is a curfew time, but that isn't that big of an issue if you're looking for a night out in Tokyo. The lobby closes by 1am and is open again at 5am. And the threat of losing your key during your adventures around the city are totally avoidable as the key never leaves the hostel and is kept in the main office until your return. All in all, a good stay at a good price.
**OH!! Be sure to ride the elevator in the early mornings and/or evenings....you can see Fuji from the elevator!!! |

| Comments: The location doesn't really matter due to the Tokyo metro.
Character can't really compete with small places like in Nikko but that's to be expected.
Staff were pleasant and helpful, though we didn't have any problems for them to sort out.
No complaints, decent value. |

| Comments: We were impressed by Juyoh. For the price, you really get a lot - your own clean room, good internet, bath on the top floor. The location is about a 10-15 minute walk from the train station, but the area is safe and clean. It\'s not in \"tourist\" district, but after staying in the louder Tokyo neighborhoods we didn\'t mind. Very good place! |
