Comments: Will never go back to this hostel again. There were so many ridiculous 'house rules' and i felt watched all the time. The only redeeming factor is the excellent location of this hostel.

Comments: staff was unfriendly to point of being mean, and also only offered information (such as whether there were towels) if asked specifically. Did not tell about breakfast hours till after it was done!

Comments: I got yelled at when i asked for internet access because i came late. I was late because of a blizzard. Well actually 3 blizzards. Other than that it was fine. Sleeping rooms were fine and it was clean.

Comments: This hostel was very quiet and cozy, our group loved the staff that knew how to do their job, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equiped, this hostel tries to be environmentaly friendly so thats a plus (ie no paper towels, hot water conservation, biodegradabe dish soap etc.), I have been to nearly 25 hostels and I can recommend this one to anyone, Backpackers on Dundas thumbs up!

Comments: The hostel location is great and conveniently located. The hostel itself is a little hard to find at first but isn't too bad. The place overall is very clean and has a homely feel to it. The staff try to be very nice and are friendly. The only complaint is that the showers did not really have hot water and so showers were very difficult to do.

Comments: Beds were comfortable! Room curtains didnt exactly close so you had light from street all night, free internet was cool and kitchen was handy. Showers didnt stay hot but which was annoying.

Comments: The location here is great and it is a safe place. The building is nothing special and you may have to queue for a shower or toilet. The staff were very helpful and friendly though.

| Comments: The hostel was good and clean. It's in a great location and the people were friendly, even if it's not huge on character or space. There were a couple of DVD movies showing in the day/evening, in the lounge, which was nice.
Bunks are clean and new, and sheets and blankets are all great. The rooms were quiet, which meant some good relaxation and sleep.
On the outside of the building there's a sign for the hostel, but when you walk up the stairs you get to a locked door with no sign on it. This is the one you want. Hopefully they'll put a sign on the door there too, telling you that this is the hostel and to knock.
Once you're in, you can get a key (if you want one and you're going to be out late), for a security deposit that you get back later. |

Comments: You can tell that this hostel is young and growing, but it is a great place. As far as I know, one of the best in Toronto. Mike is a great guy, awesome wifi, TV/satellite, kitchen, and unbeatable location (sushi and kebaps downstairs). My only knocks are that it is smallish and feels a little office-esque. But all in all a great place.

Comments: No heat the first night. Mike was wonderful, he got the heat fixed, I got an extra blanket, he knew details about the mass transit, and had suggestions for places to eat. We enjoyed the Inter Net connection and the frig space. I wish we knew that \'linen included\' did not include towels! The price room was very acceptable but I wish the showers and floors were just a bit cleaner.

Comments: The location was good, in the centre of Toronto. The staff was also nice to us, but we only stayed for one (short) night, so we really didn't get to know them well. One thing you should know is that there are lockers available, but you have to bring your own lock (or buy one at the hostel for 3 dollar, but they were out of locks when we were there).
