Comments: The staff was very friendly, but our room was quite cold and uncomfortable. The furnishings lacked character and the hotel was located a hefty walk from the city center.

Comments: We were rather disturbed by the fact that when we came to pay the bill the conseige was quite insistent that we had to pay the 10% deposit which we had already paid to your booking company. He said he couldn't find any paperwork and, had we not have had a reasonable command of the language, would have had us pay the 10% again!!

Muchas gracias x

Comments: Very clean and nice hostel but a little ways away from the train station and main sights. 2 of the 3 staff we encountered were friendly but one guy kept yelling at us in spanish when we asked how to get out the locked gate. Finally realized you MUST leave your key at the reception but he was talking about police and being arrested and kept slamming the table all in spanish and very fast. On the way back in he was much friendlier.

Comments: Our room was fantastic, we had a nice time, and it was clean/safe, though the WifI didn't work so well while we were there, and I had to find an internet cafe. Don't hesitate to stay here though.

Comments: We did not stay in this hostel as it was closed due to some kind of problems with facilities. Instead we were transferred to a nearby hotel which did not offer the facilities we were expecting to find in the hostel. Still, we were glad we were not let in the street...

Comments: Two thirds of the staff don't speak a word of English or any other foreign language, they are and one guy at the reception was obviously drunk one night. The rooms are pretty big and it takes some 20 minutes walking from the hostal to the very center of the city.

Comments: I dont know what do say about this hostel, the feeling is very mixed. but i guess you should know what horrible things have happened to me. I arrived at this hostel at 5:30 in the morning, which i have notified the hostel beforehand. But when I arrive, the bizarre receptionist (a very old man) even refused me to get in. After a fierce negotiation, I fianlly went inside. But the old man only asked me to put my luggage down and requested me to get out immediately. The reason was that i can only check-in at 12 o'clock. I tried to explain that it's only 5 o'clock in the morning and it's freezing outside. But he did not give a damn and showed no sympathy at all. he insisted that i should leave immediately. I told him that I could check-in at 12 but before that, could i stay in the couch of the lobby till the sun came out. But he refused, again. He indicated me that if i stayed in the couch, he would call the police. I was so angry and I could not believe that he was such a cruel and cold-hearted man. I shouted back, "go ahead, call the police, i dont care. " With that words, I put myself on the couch in the lobby. It turned out that he did not call the police either. But i could not sleep at all because it's so cold and i was still angry. Around 8:30 I got up and went out. I came back at noon and complained the whole thing to another lady receptionist. She recognized that it's a horrible thing. except the crule man,the lady receptionist and the other old man were quite ok, though they did not speak english. The hostel is clean, but the hot water is very unstable. I did not take shower during two days there because the hot water turned to cold very quickly. anyway, it's up to you to decide whether you want to stay there. i just wish you good luck that you won't meet that old man.

Comments: the hostel is clean and cheap and is in a good side of seville near the main monuments. Staff doesn't speak english but is kind. double bed is not very large for two persons and in the rooms close the receptions sometimes noise is felt. i suggest the hostel to practical persons that can adapt themselves

Comments: 2nd time stayed here. Great location as quiet but only 10 minutes walk from the centre. As said in previous reviews the staff can only speak Spanish. Well you are in Spain. I didn't encounter any problems! Would definitely stay again.

Comments: Had a fine stay, but my reservation was not initially transferred properly (the hostel's fault, not the website's) and they weren't quite ready for us when we got there. As a result, my wife and I got put in the room on the first floor facing the street and off the lobby. As a result, it was very noisy. However, the hostel itself seemed clean, the staff friendly (little English-spoken), and it was in a decent location- very close to the bus station, and an enjoyable 10-15 minute walk to the cathedral through a lot of great neighborhoods for sights and shopping.

Comments: One of the staff members yelled at me for no reason at all. On this trip (71 days in Europe, 14 countries, stayed in approx. 27 hotels) this was the only time a staff member yelled at me. He was a big fat, grumpy, spoiled man. He was truly crazy. He started yelling and pounding his hand against the desk.

Comments: The hostel was very clean, but the staff (except one lady) had no English whatsoever, not one word! It is located in the center of town and right next to the Museum of Fine Art, but a bit far from other places and busses, etc. There is a fruit and vegetable store nearby but no grocery.

Comments: It's a good location, no more than 10-15 min walk to the center of town and some great tapas places. It's nice to be in a quieter place than the center too. Really it's more of a guesthouse or hotel, very nice accomodation with private baths, etc. Great choice for Seville!

Comments: It seems clean, but there were hair in the bathroom. Besides that, is a great stay. It's in the city center but not as close as you can get to the main attractions - a good value for your money. There's a closing time at 1:00, but the keeper agreed to wake to let us in. Anyone looking for fun *inside* a hostel in Sevilla should be put on a straight jacket - fun is on the streets, not in a hotel.

Comments: good place. Owners dont speak much english. Air conditioning is good and very important in seville. snake/worm pillow on bed is annoying. good value place though. would stay there again.
