Comments: The location is very close to the train and bus stations. The room was very cold and there wasn`t a warm blanket, only bedsheet and coverlet. I had a sleeping bag, otherwise I could freeze over. And personal was very unfriendly.

Comments: Great location, great staff - and thanks for letting me stay for 20 Euro, even though I didn't have to share a room!

Comments: They overbooked, and when we arrived simply told us that they didn't have a room for us and that we would have to go to a hotel just down the road. They were completely indifferent to their mistake, and we found their attitude to be awful. They even refused to refund our deposit. Not impressed in the slightest.

Comments: Brilliant location literally metres from the train station and a short walk from the town. Right near the bus station for Barcola beach just outside the city. Brilliant facilities also, it felt more like a cheap hotel than a hostel with a very large room, fan and tv.

Comments: We arrived a day early just as the manager was leaving for the evening... he was a bit put out that we hadnt phoned but managed to find us a room anyway. The hostel is really near the bus and train station... 4 mins walk and walking distance to the harbour and city sights. I thought it was a bit expensive though - especially as we didnt get breakfast included.

Comments: The hostel is not really a hostel, it is more of an apartment in a big office building with rooms for rent. It was actually absolutely cool to stay in a room all by yourself for one night after sleeping in dorms for weeks. And it was very cheap, just like dorms:)

Comments: I was stupid enough to book the wrong day but the staff in the hostel is so great that they could arrange it for us to have our room even if the hostel was full!

Comments: Nice rooms in an apartment building, very close to the train and bus station (1 minute walk). Very good value for the money and we even got a free upgrade to a private room and cheaper price than sited on the internet, both with no explanation. The owner was very kind giving us a map and pointing out very tasty places to eat for cheap, internet cafes and such. Highly recommended.

Comments: average good hostel. Bathrooms need some repairs/modernization. For example, the toiletseat and washbasin were broken, partly cold water in the shower. One of the beds could really use a new matras. Breakfast and towels not included!

Comments: The classiest hostel we went to by far! Well worth a couple mpore euros to get a little privacy and a working television. The rooms are big and the beds are comfy, there\'s no curfew, near station, pier and bars, the men who work there are nice...and theres great cheap ice cream and pizza down the road! Trieste itself wasn\'t particularly exciting though.

| Comments: A very old building but thankfully the lift worked otherwise it would have been up numerous flights of stairs.
The bedrooms was large but in one bathroom it had a foot pedal to operate the hot and cold taps. The shower was so small you could hardly bend over without hitting your head on the cubicle.
The reception fellow had no personality at all when I arrived and could not even bother to say hello. |

Comments: it is a great location, right next to the train station and in the middle of everything there is to see in Trieste. The people were nice, and spoke english. They were also very helpful and told us how to get to where we needed to be. We were a bit confused and sketched out at first because it is on the third floor of an old apartment building, and is literally a flat with huge rooms rented out as a hostel. But the stay was great, and I would go back to Trieste any day! :)
