It was nothing like we expected it was more like a hotel, I was disappointed in this because I wanted to meet people. But we didn't go to sleep, and this place is rather far from Dublin city center. (20min taxi costing 25 euro or hour bus). However one night we went out in Swords and had and amazing time! So depends on where you want to be located...everything else was great about the hostel.

There's no place to hold your luggage if you have a late flight, and breakfast is not included in the price. The hotel itself was fine, but if you're looking to stay in the city of Dublin this wouldn't be your choice.

If you take the bus to the hotel from the airport, you have to cross a highway (without any pedestrian walk signals, etc). Water pressure was horrible! but fine if you just want a place to sleep for a night.

We had a inexpensive and sizeable Irish breakfast at the restaurant attached and although we only stayed one night ,on our arrival, in Dublin, we would recommend it as a clean, pleasant and very convienient place for a short term stay to overcome the jet lag!!

That said, it was cheap and it worked fine. You hop on the 41 bus for 2 Euro and will be at the downtown point in about 30 minutes. Taxis are between 20 to 30 euro. No complaints, but no major praise either. Just a place to rest your head.
