Excellent location within 20 minute walking distance of airport bus stop and comfortable distances of all major tourist attractions and eating establisments/discos etc. Stayed in a 2 person ensuite apartment..was clean had a kitchen, small living room with LCD TV . Didn\'t need (stayed in DEC) but did have an airconditioner. For the price the best place to stay in Athens. One of the best hostels I have stayed in. Highly reccomended!!!

BEST HOSTEL in ATHENS PERIOD!

I didn\'t even buy a bus/metro pass while staying there. The kitchen was new and clean, but be aware that there is no microwave and only one pot and one pan. This apartment was great for our family. We are travelling with two teenage children and we were able to have some privacy in our own room. The Acropolis was special at night and within easy walking distance with lots of great restaurants to choose from.

We weren't in the studios part (which I gather is different), but the hostel proper, and we had no complaints whatsoever and met a lot of cool people. They organise a lot of daytrips right out of the hostel and do drinks in the evening on a rooftop bar. Every city has a few top quality hostels and this is one well worth considering for Athens.

My partner and I had a dreadful stay that was not to be helped by the staff. We stayed in Athens for 5 nights in total, construction was in place just outside our room for three nights, on the forth night the card we received for the hotel had not been programmed properly and after a long day we had to wait until 2.30 in the morning until we could have accessed our room but the staff did whatever possible to make our stay welcome. Very organised and great local knowledge. We also enjoyed the walking tour too. Suggestion: It would have been better if tea, coffee, soaps etc were supplied in the studio apartments too.

The main builing for Athens Backpackers is 5 minutes away and is the place to go to meet and socialize with other travellers. The roof top bar there is amazing. No complaints for the studio.
