Comments: The Hotel is clean & funky and in a great spot, around the corner from the Passaig de Born which has loads of restaurants & bars which are a lot cheaper & cooler than the Ramblas options. On the downside, at the moment there's building going on both sides of the Hotel which got pretty noisy during the day. Also, avoid rooms 26 & 15, their right beside the reception so you get all the traffic & activity straight though your door!

Comments: We booked for Triunfo but relocated twice. First to the less Rey Don Jaime hotel around Jaume and then to an appartment St. Jordi next to the Av. Diagonal. The directions on the website are regardless, we didn't find the Rey Don Jaime hotel to get the key for our appartment. After a phone call the employee in the Truinfo hotel was very helpfull, Truinfo looked great and is good located next to a park, lovely with summer weather an is located just outside the center. The employee in the Rey Don Jaime hotel didn't speak English and the hotel looked much more less then Truinfo. Rey Don Jaime arranged a taxi on their costs to the apprtement, great service. Our St. Jordi appartment was located in a house with multiple family appartments between to sex clubs. The appartment itself was great and peacefull, no sounds at all except for a noisy refrigerator. The appartment surroundings were Barcelona local and not that touristic as in the center which we loved. The appartments are not that well reachable by metro, but a walk over the Av. Diagonal each morning with a breakfast is super. Great hotel service, but next time we hope to stay in the Truinfo hotel, great staff and location.

Comments: In general it's a very good hotel, very clan, modern and well located but we booked for 3 nights and they asked us to change our room after the second night without even informing us about that when booking or after booking our room.

Comments: The hotel was in a great location (in a trendy upscale part of town away from the touristy ramblas), the staff was friendly and our luggage was safe and secure. I definitely would stay here again as it had better accomodations than some of the hostels we visited for a comparable price.

Comments: overall, the hotel was actually really nice in comparison to other places i´ve stayed in europe. the weird thing is that you cannot bring guests/friends back to your room with you...even just to hang out! it got to be very inconvenient since i had friends staying at other hostals, and whenever they came to meet me they had to wait for me in the lobby. the reception guy who worked the early evening shift was the best! he was very helpful with everything...he even wrote up a list of things to see in san sebastian which is a great trip out of barcelona!

Comments: After having made the reservation, we were informed that we were rebooked to a different hotel of the same chain & that we would receive a discount for the inconvenience. Upon arrival the receptionist told us that due to a mistake of the booking office, we were booked at the original hotel after all. No form of transportation was offered and we ended up having to argue for the promised discount.

Comments: Rocked up to this Hotel at middnihgt. They had double booked us, and didnt bother to let us know. They sent us on a goos chase trying to find the other hotel they are affiliated with...... A cab ride later we finally found it. Very unorganised. Once in a room, it was clean, pleasant and in a great location. But staff throughtout the stay were not helpful.

Comments: On arriving at the hotel i was informed that it was full and i had been booked into an apartment instead. I wish that they had notified me before i went to the effort of taking all my luggage on the metro because i then had to take the metro again to find the apartment. As i thought i was staying in a hotel (where you usually you pay when you leave) i hadn't prepared enough money and the man renting the apartment made a great fuss about this even though i offered to find an ATM. Apart from these initial hiccups it was a good stay.
