The room was an adequate size and the bathroom was somewhat modern and clean, however i'm not sure that the bathmat was clean, and there was no towel provided (i got one after asking for it). The bed linen was not the cleanest either. This was possibly the worst place i've ever stayed. However the location was good, close to las ramblas.

However the price is misleading as it does not include 7% tax (wasn't very happy with this). The city also suffers from massive amounts of crime so I wouldn't recommend travelling with many valuables or large amounts of cash, and stay off the streets late at nights on weekends. Oh and there is another hotel with the same name not too far away so you need to be careful to get the right one.

Further the staff didn't speak much english, that was a pity for us.The location is oke, although there is a lot of noise in the night, we aren't use to it but that belongs to the city also.

With persistence twin rooms were found for 2 days. I was assured the price was the same but very upset to find out when paying my bill that it cost me more money to stay 2 nights than the original 3 nights i had booked via hostel world .

There was no locker so we had to lock or own bags with a lock. The location was excellent but only the shower was a little sh#tty, because sometimes it was very hot and the next moment cold. I would return here though!

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating England 16th July 2008 Male 18-24 4/5 Comments: This hostel was brilliant in every way.The twin room was cleaned thouraghly, spacious and even had a balcony.All the staff were really friendly and helpfull.Would recomend to anyone. 2 tips however is to bring earplugs if your a light sleeper. Due to the central location can be noisy first thing in the morning. Also dont be alarmed if your TV turns on by itself!! (remote signals travel through floor). Amazing hostal.

We arrived at 6 am, and instead of just dropping off our luggage, we could make use of our hotel room right away! and after checking out it was no problem at all to leave out stuff in the hotel and pick it up at the end of the day!

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating England 30th March 2008 - - 2/5 Comments: slightly disappointed all round. the loction was good, but that was the best bit. the walls were very thin so we could her every noise made on our floor, which happened to include the noise of the rats in the partition between the walls. the staff were good and tried hard. not mentioned was the fact that 7% would be added to the bill as 'tax'. i think for the price i would expect more. it may be one of the cheapest, but i have stayed in much better hostels and payed much less.
