Really enjoyed this hostel - it was clean, charming and met some nice people of all ages. Breakfast was free, showers were hot and everything was great. Thanks. I'll be there next time that I am in Toronto for sure.

No where have I ever stayed where the owner shakes your hand and introduces himself upon arrival and then proceeds to cheerfully help you with any concern that may arise, or simply just hang out in the common room chatting with customers. If it was an ebay auction, I would say "A++++ would deal with again".

The atmosphere was amazing - everyone was really friendly and you just felt like you were living in a house with a massive group of friends as soon as you walk in the door! Owners are hilarious, facilities were great and the location was perfect!!! TOP MARKS ON EVERYTHING!!!!!!! Would recommend it for sure - as long as you have an open attitude and like meeting people!

Even if it did have a tv in the room. The second single room should be offered at a cheaper rate than the other one, which I've stayed in before, and is much, much nicer: less noisy, as you don't hear the dryer/washer, don't hear people clomping over head in the upper floor, and has natural light, not a terrible, single light in the rather low ceiling. It was more prison cell than hostel room.

The staff are really lovely and made us feel comfortable and at home! Free internet, clean kitchen, great location. I would recommend this hostel highly to anyone :)
