| Comments: Directions weren't clear. They never changed our sheets or towels. Really expensive for the location. We put in one room and then had to switch to another room. |

| Comments: We stayed in a private room with a double bed (sofa) at this hostel and the whole place was very clean. We had our own bathroom and shower, our own kitchen w/ refrigerator and a TV. The bad thing is that its in zone 3 and with the train (RER) it takes you about half an hour to get to the center of Paris, unfortunately the train didnt work the two last days of our stay so we had to first take the bus to the metro station and then take the metro into the city...that took exactly one hour. It doesnt look safe to wander about in the area at night so we always took the bus that stopped right outside the hostel. Sometimes they had a security guard at the entrance. Recommended for those who won't mind a long ride to the city and who dont care much for the nightlife (as the metro and train stops going at midnight or so), you get a private room for a good price, and they had rooms available when we booked it just the night before. The next time though im gonna get a room at a hostel in the center of the city. By the way: call the hostel for better directions, there's a bus you can take that takes you right to their doorstep. |

| Comments: It was a LOOONG train ride from Paris to the apartment. Were it not for a friendly little lady, we would've never found it. I'm so glad we did, though. Staff was fabulous, place secure-just a great respite altogether. |

| Comments: Hi all!
Not bad deal price to location. Go to gare du nord, take RER B1 to St. Denis. Take bus 154 for ESS. Second stop in epinay.
With RER C, Get down at ESS, come out station, Go straight to IBIS hotel. From there Left to petrol pump and next to it is your place to stay
Its nice place to stay but in apartment for two, they had given sofa bed and hot water was not really hot but warm... Thats it.
ENJOY TRIP TO PARIS THEN.... |

| Comments: Too far from the central city. The description of the way to the hotel could have been better. It was only one cup and one glass in the apartment. We asked for more but didn´t get anything. |

| Comments: id advise you not to go here at all the apartment consists of two rooms and one is the bathroom, basically you kitchen, sitting room and bedroom are all in one room the bed we got was a broken foldout couch woke up at 3.30am the first night and the bed had started folding back on us. the staff are unbelievably rude and wont help you if your lost and cant find your way to the hotel as the directions they gave are completely incorrect i would never stay here again!!! |

| Comments: I thought it was really strange that they expected you to clean the rooms but did not provide cleaning products. As someone travelling, it doesn't make sense to buy cleaning products and then have to immediately discard them because you have to travel onto the next destination. A bit out of the way, which was especially a problem at night. |

| Comments: Take the time and look for something else. An emergency came up and I had to cancel my reservation and despite I did it the day before, they still charged me the stay. They were really rude about it. I would suggest you look for a more tourist friendly hostel. |

| Comments: very nice room with everything needed, except the cleaning stuff. its very hard to clean all the things without providing any washing materials. the room is quite small but well equipped. station is quite far away from the residence(10mins walk). tickets for Paris are useless for the zone but every one passing the gate without tickets. get off the station and pass through the ticket office, go straight until you see the ibis hotel and turn left to the end of the road, you can find the Hotel Balladins(same location with Résidence de la Seine). it takes about 40 mins to get to Eiffel tower. tains leave every 10 mins in the peak hr and 15-30 mins at night time. |

| Comments: Advantage: very big room and new furniture. Disadvantage: It's in zone 3. Notice: They require photocopies of your passport and credit card. The bed in our room (twin private) is a sofa bed. |

| Comments: The room was as expected. It was clean with modern fixtures & fittings. Only 2 minor grumbles - the internet connection lead was very short, and they were not able to provide a second blanket when asked. Otherwise everything was OK! |

| Comments: Our bed was garbage, and they tried to blame us for breaking it!!! The hotel itself isn't too bad, but for the cost you would expect a bed that doesn't break on you midway through the night. |

| Comments: the firealarm went off during our stay and the staff only provided instructions and explanations in french which is not good for all of us who do not know any french! in that situation they have to be able to speak at lest english as well to make sure everyone understands them.
we suspect that there was also some new staff on training which was obvious and had some effects but all staff was working hard and did their best!
a really nice place that we look forward to visiting again! |

| Comments: I never saw in the world a pension, hostel or hotel where the PROPER client has to clean the room! The attendants are not gentile, do not give information. I can inform that this was the worse hostel (and most expensive) of all the ones that we were in this trip (Portugal, Spain, Germany, Sweden). |

| Comments: After reading other reviews on this place, good and bad, I was a bit anxious to see what it was really like for myself!!
We where first a bit confused as when we came to the train stop genevillers (One before epinay, the one you get off at) we saw a hotel called hotel balladins (what the hotel is actually called) we thought that could be it but there is a chain of hotels called hotel balladins so this one wasn't our stop.
Once we got off at Epinay station it took about 5 minutes to walk to the hotel. On checking in the staff where a little vague.
Our room was nice we knew our bed was going to be a sofa bed which was actually quite comfortable. The room was tidy enough.
When you check out you do have to clean your own room which if you don't the hotel will charge you 40 Euro to do it which they don't tell you when you check in.
The internet is free if you have your own laptop and there is a cable in your room that you plug into, in the lobby the internet will cost you 3 Euro for 15 Minutes or 5 Euro for 30 Minutes. Expensive
Overall the Hotel was what we where looking for somewhere, where we could crash at night and have a little privacy (Been Paris and all..) and go out during the day with our belongings been safe, however almost next door is the hotel Ibis a well known hotel chain that have Rooms for 2 People for 46 Euro If I where to go to Paris again I think that we would stay there. (I'm sure you don't have to clean your room at the end of your stay) |
