Unfortunately there are two many negatives at this hostel. The curtains were see through, heating barely worked, hot water lasted 1 minute, there was no storage or safes, they lock the common room most of the time, the TV, stereo, radio and computer all don't work. I wouldn't recommend this place it was very boring even though we had a group of 6 and we were so cold most of the time.

The room was dirty and smelled, the toilet was OK but the atmosphere was freaky. There was harldy any heating in the room and there was no one after 16 h 00 in the hostel to help us out or anything. Never going back there!!

Although the staff tried to fix it once, it shut off again. It was absolutely freezing, and thus very uncomfortable, the whole night.

We had a great time here. It would be nice if there was a garbage can in the room, otherwise, absolutely no complaints!

Location is pretty good... Kilkenny isn't very big, anyway. The common areas are nice and the staff is friendly. I was happy with the breakfast (cold cereal/tea/coffee). I enjoyed my stay here... I have no complaints! Thanks!

Also wasn\'t impressed with the shower recess. However the owner was very laid back and knowledgable. The dogs also very cute and friendly, but not a good place to stay if you\'re not comfortable around dogs.
