But you guys have to do something about those creaky bunks! They are unbearable & deafening. Oh, and there's lots of friendly prostitutes that work near by as well. So that's good, if you're into that.

However, it's not as social as more traditional hostels I've been to. The crowd is a lot more mixed--families and older people as well as young backpackers--and there's no kitchen, which detracts from the communal aspect. Still, we met a few cool people and had a great time in Berlin.

Way and above the best hostel we've been to out of many in many countries. Classy, stylie, playful common areas with fire, games rooms, restaurant, elevators, Wifi in room, purchasable. Free Berlin guided walks are amazing - start at hostel. Helpful staff. Store, lockers downstairs (not in room). Could have stayed here long time!

The rooms are very clean, and better yet, spacious, well lid and overall really nice. Staff is very friendly and professional. The location is another plus of the hostel, close to public transportation and to the all the sights. Most definitely recommend it. Also, take advantage of the free walking tour, and the nearby restaurants (the indian Amirst is very good). The bar of the hostel is not all that exciting, or crowed but its a nice place to grab a beer.

Very close to public transport. Incredibly clean rooms, everything seems brand new. If there is one bad thing it's that the place is a little too clean and sterile, but thats fine if you are not looking for a huge social experience from your backpacker. Amazing value. Anyone coming to Berlin for fist time this has got to be the best place, especially if you are 25+

Lax security however, with anyone able to wander in and around the commnual areas and often into the separate bathrooms. Squeaky bunk beds + restless sleepers = noisy nights !
