Although advertised as a hotel/B&B, breakfast is not included, nor is it at the same location. To get to the 'sister hotel' where breakfast is served, it is required to take a water bus, and a 10minute walk.

We stayed in a double bedroom and it was a cublicle but no major problems since we did not plan to spend our vacation in a hotel. Direction is a little bit old because numbers mentioned about vaporetto no longer exists. If you plan to stay in San Samuelle then take vaporetto number 2.

The location is good because it just a few steps from the "water-bus" station called San Samuele Station. The hotel provide breakfast in its sister hotel for 10 Euro (but a little bit far away). i think it is better if they provided a map to locate the sister. The staff is very good because he have brought us to that hotel.

DO NOT CHECK OUT WITH THIS GUY. I do not know his name but he is dishonest and will try and rip you off. Wait till the morning of your departure or the day of your arrival to pay for the hotel. Make sure that you have a copy of your hostel world receipt so you can argue price if you have to.

The location was nice out of the way of all the touristy aread but was only a few steps from the water bus stop which you could take to go anywhere. I was surprised to see no tv in the room, which was fine, but it is 2008! otherwise a nice place, I would stay there again.

The ensuite bathroom was very very big and very clean. There was no lift though so we had to lift luggage up 3 floors using narrow staircase. One main problem was one of the staff was extremely rude. We misunderstood some of the information given to us and he replied as though it was the biggest joke he had heard in his life. We felt slightly offended by his attitude. Otherwise the whole experience was pleasant.

The location was pretty central to everything and the directions were relatively easy to follow. The price was great. It wasn't a modern hostel nor did it have much remodeling done to it, so it was pretty plain-looking except for the modern and clean bathrooms. Other than that, a great choice for the price.

After getting off the vaporetto, it was straight ahead, no problem to find. Piazza de San Marco and the Rialto bridge were within 15 minutes walking distance. There were signs everywhere pointing you in the right direction. The rooms and bathroom were clean and very nice for the price of $30 a person, a night. Staff speaks english, some better than others:/ But they are very willing to help with directions or any other questions you have. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel/hostel to anyone. And Venice is an amazingly beautiful city and I now adore!

Probably one of the best discount hotels I have ever stayed in, although some of the other tenants were a bit loud! Make sure the Vaporetto #2 is running at the time of your arrival or the directions on the website will be different.

They could do better by providing kettle for boiling hot water and a basic tv for light entertainment before u doze off. But the staff was helpful, upon our request, they provide us with hot water for our baby needs.

During the night my fiancee got very high fever so we asked the staff if ther was a place he could rest until our train left at 7 pm. They were really helpfull and said we could have the room a little longer. I don't know how many times I told them that it was just for the day and that we would check out in the evening. Still when we left they pretended to be surprised that we wouldn't stay another night. And they wanted another night's payment too. We had an agreement but it turned out they can't be trusted. If you want to stay here don't ask for any favours. Next time I will choose another hotel.
