Comments: I really enjoyed this hostel. The rooms were realyl nice (a bit small and you could hear through the walls) but very clean! The staff was helpful...however whoever cleans the bathrooms takes WAY to long. The men's bathroom was closed from 10-11 one day for cleaning and then the women's was closed for another hour. Do your cleaning when everyone is out during the day. But overall a great experience!

Comments: A really good hostel, one of the best I've been staying at. I can really recomend it, and free Internet is just the kind of salvation that you sometimes need during a longer trip.

Comments: This was the first hostel we stayed in, and definitely set the standard for all other hostels ... it was brilliant! Free internet access, a godsend! The most comfortable beds we had the whole trip. Really close to a metro stop, and a couple of cheap eateries. The staff were so helpful, they gave us a free map of the area, pointing out useful bits of info. We made a mistake with our original booking, and they refunded us the night completely. It really is a fantastic hostel.

Comments: Stayed here for several nights during my stay in Japan. The location is out of the way from the night life. The staff is friendly and the common area was nice. Also had a kitchen and fridge. Stay here if your looking for quiet nights and you plan on visiting Asakusa.

Comments: its a great place to stay that is cheap, clean, and near asakusa shrine. it's a bit far away from tokyo, shinsaibashi, and harajuku though. the staff are really friendly and they have an 11 o clock quiet time, so we got great sleep there.

Comments: This hostel is definitely OVER RATED! Other hostels in tokyo are much nicer. Location is not fantastic, no big lockers for packs, a very very small kitchen and really hard beds. But otherwise tis still a nice hostel.

Comments: Fantastic hostel, would stay here again in a flash when we eventually get back to Tokyo, we are actually heading back to Tokyo after travelling around Japan and were disappointed we couldnt book back in this place - it was full. The area of Asakusa is a must!

Comments: I thought the place was great. While not right in Tokyo there is still plenty of things to see in Asakusa and it is close to plenty of train lines.

Comments: Sorry, but this hostel is overrated, I found that Kawase capsule hotel was a much better deal- they at least provided towels, bath kit, acces at sauna at not extra cost.

Comments: The room was extremely small and stuffy. The room had two bunk beds in it and there was no room for anything else.It was extremely cramped .It was also expensive, the kitchen could only fit one person at a time and there was no possibility to cook food.In comparison to other hostels that I stayed in Japan this one was below average.I would recommend that you try elsewhere.

Comments: For the same price you will find ryokans with better comfort and much more character and facilities. You cannot lock inside of the common (but not mixed) showers, and my bedroom didn't have any table nor bedside lights, very raw... As a compensation the personal was quite helpful. But I regret spending my last night in Japan there.

Hooks in the bathroom would be a wedome addition. |

Comments: I have limited experience staying in hostels, but my wife told me that this one was very good in comparison to the ones she has stayed at in Europe. Helpful staff, and clean quiet environment. Good location for the subway and Asakusa area of Tokyo. Only complaint is that I found the mattress a little thin.

Comments: All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Like the energy saving lights that comes on only when someone steps into the room and goes off after the person leaves. The common area on the 3rd floor is very cosy for travellers to rest and chat.

Comments: This hostel was the first place we stayed in Japan and I liked the lounge area as this was in traditional Japanese style. It was clean and the bathrooms were nice and the location was good. The staff could have provided more information about the area and city given that we had just arrived - the next hostel we went to gave a lot more. It is a quiet place and good to relax rather than to party.
