Comments: although not the most authentic way to see venice, if you are desperate for a bit of privacy and cleanliness then this hostel is great. There is a shuttle bus that runs a few times in and out of the city centre so the location isn't so bad. The cabins are really good and have air conditioning and heating. A really nice way to see the city and have a relaxing stay at the same time. A little hard to find initially so make sure you get good directions.

Comments: Needs to be a little more specific that when you book a \"twin bedroom\" they actually mean a tent. Luckily we were upgraded with no extra charge because it was cold. The campervans are very nice though, and the restaurant was quite good value. The shuttle to the island was also convenient.

Comments: stayed in a cabin which was nice but you could feel the floor vibrate when the person in the cabin next to you walked around, maybe they were really fat. Overall though really good value for money and it only took about 20 mins and cost 1.10euro to get into venice using the public bus. Would stay here again.

Comments: Campsite is in the middle of nowhere with no great links to the city at night so you're stuck there - they have a bar but it was never busy and seemed to be a local hangout of older men! Staff don't really know much and very unhelpful. Would not recommend

Comments: If you like mosquitos and a stagnent swimming pool then this is the place for you! It was like a ghost town. About a lively as a funeral parlour. On the plus side it was cheap.

Comments: This is a solid location for a group that wants cheap lodging. It's about a 15 minute bus ride to the bus stop from the Mestre station and another 10-15min walk to the camping site itself. Getting to Venice is quite simple, another walk out to the bus stop and then taking the bus for about 15 min to Venice. About <2 euro each way. The walk to the bus stop might be a bit sketchy going into a neighborhood, stadium and tunnel. I walked with a group and on my own late in the night and it was okay... We stayed in a cabin, and it was solid... extra communal showers were also available. Overall not bad at all. For sure to have a few stories to tell afterward.

Comments: Cheap, and conveniently located near the main sights of Venice. The shuttle bus from the campsite to Veneyia S.L. is verz handy!

| Comments: Nice and clean, the best hostel in my last 20 hostel stays so far.
I booked a 3 beds mixed room but the hostel let me stay alone in the room (low season, everybody gets one private room). I extended my stay in Venice just because of the hostel, feel so comfortable.
The location is not ideal, but with the cheap price and the low cost shuttle bus, no complaint here. |

Comments: The only problem with the hostel that i had was that every night it seemed there was some sort of road work or something going on that made it a little bit more difficult to sleep but i dont think they can help that except for the fact that they are very close to the road. Besides that this place was awesome and for the cost i could live there.

Comments: distance between Camping Jolly and bus station for nearest connection to Venice is about 15-20 min. and ever trip to Venice, by public transports, takes about 45- 60 min according to bus achievement ( 20- 30 min between two bus, no time table in station).

Comments: Disappointed the table tennis not available. Was broken apparently. Staff nice & helpful. Shower in the room flooded the whole bathroom. Told the staff & said he´ll see to it. Overall, good for family. Don´t mind the distance to Venice as there´s shuttle bus available.

Comments: Internet is expensive but it's expensive everywhere in Venice. Good showers plenty of hot water in private cabins. You're miles away from Venice however a shuttle bus runs daily at different times from camp grounds to Venice for 4 euro return. Staff spoke great english, were fantastic and very helpful. Private cabins have very thin walls however you get good value for your money staying there. The only bad thing about the camp site was that you had to use a camp issuesd card for all purchases on site, you put money on the card then use it instead of cash, and eveything is quite expensive on site....much the same as Venice in general. Definitley would stay again if ever back in Venice.

Comments: Apart from taking ages to get there, and the signs saying 20m to entrance - when really it was about 200m....the place is everything you expect from a hostel. Shuttle bus service is sweet, and for 90cents more than a bus, it takes you where you need to go in venice and from right out front of the hostel. Bus driver was a champ. We would stay here again. Internet was cheap too...4Euro for 4 hours.

Comments: This seemed to be quite a quiet camping ground when I stayed- most people seemed to be staying at the other camping ground near the airport. Perhaps good for families, but not so good for single backpackers looking to meet people.

Comments: Bit of a hike to get there. I arrived alone, at night, and walking there from the station was a little nerve-wracking. Nice vibe though - seemed a pretty social place.

Comments: The place was okay. There was no air conditioning any where so it was really hot and uncomfortable, especially in the tents when the hot sun would beat down. The bar/disco was pretty lame. Also it was far from the city so there was no where to get food or booze except there at the camp, where they dont have a cash machine and the only way you can buy their food or booze is to put cash on these little credit card things and use that. The pool was okay to keep cool.
