Make sure you get adequate directions, once you find it, which really isnt that hard but for some reason took me a while, every thing is perfect. The couple that owns the place are amazing. Probably the nicest people in the city, hands down.

The Hotel itself was clean and had plenty of space in it for bags and floor room for spreading maps over to plan routes or to play games in the evening. The owner was always in and went out of her way to accomidate us and was wonderful for the whole trip. I'd defently reccomend it for the place to stay and if ever in the region i'd book there again.

The rooms are beautiful with high ceilings and paintings on the wall. We, however, were not very used to the BB style so we felt a bit like intruders in someone's home and wanted a bit more privacy. As mentioned though, we think this is how BBs work. The main staff is very nice and breakfast was reasonable and very nicely presented.

The quality of the rooms and the breakfast is excellent given the price you pay. The lady who runs the place is delightful and will help you in any way she can. If you are a couple or in a small group and not looking to meet other people then I would definitely recommend staying here. Only snag is that you get no key for your room.

This is not the way of the hostel you are used to. It's a private flat. "Bad & Breakfast" service type is exact (besides WC and shower). There is no freedom. You are not allowed to do anything but to sleep and eat breakfast (and have a shower and WC). They handled with us like with a business not as human beings. You have to care what you eat, because she is a moslim (nothing against them). She serves the flat more than you, therefore the flat is so extremely clean that you are afraid of touching anything by yourself. You are allowed to put anything to her private fridge, but you have to ask if you want to take something yours from it. And the most important remark: you will not get any key of the property. I was not allowed to eat something mine in her kitchen, because I was told it was not included. Only breakfast is allowed. So, anything you can use as seen in the pictures is beds and shower. The other pictures are only to attract you, these are private rooms. Parking in Trieste is horrible, there is a small chance that you catch something available, because other Italian cars are waiting on the park place to catch a place. The only positive thing is the location, but you will not get the room with the view of the sea and the port, but the view of a dark shaft. Therefore, if you like the location, find something else. If you are moslim, it's up to you to book it now.
