Comments: room was great but it was right on wattle street and it was incredibly noisy. i am a very heavy sleeper and the traffic woke me and kept me awake from about 5am. If you stay here make sure you ask for a room that is far away from wattle street!

Comments: WONDERFUL! Perfect for couples travelling the world! Great value for money for a double with ensuite. Room made up daily and cleaned. Only 10 mins walk and you\'re in Darling Harbour! Can\'t recommend it enough if you\'re staying in Central Sydney.

Comments: A very clean and funky boutique hotel. The room we stayed in was freshly renovated with brand new modern decor. The staff were excellent (we even met the owner!) and helpfull with finding locations and booking shuttles etc. Only a short walk to Darling Harbour and the City. If you don't feel like walking it's easy to catch a cab into the city for $10. The little cafe attached to the hotel makes great lattes and has a yummy breakfast menu. I will definitly stay at the Vulcan again.

Comments: Would definately recommend as an alternative to a big hotel or hostel for a couple. In a great location. Walking distance to George St & Glebe.
