| Comments: There's no reception, so be sure to state the time of your arrival. The owners are very nice and helpful. Rooms are very big and clean. Only major drawback was that we couldn't get the hot water in the shower to work. If you book a room there, be sure to ask the owner how to make it work. |

| Comments: If you like large spaces, high ceilings with art pieces and equally stylish but simple furniture - all this PLUS a practical and clean kitchen, free internet and rather splendid location then Shelter Pension's the place for you. Vladimir is very nice and accomodating. He gave us a map the first day and gave a good overview of what the town was like. Downsides? Probably none (although light sleepers might be bothered with some noise from the ground floor restaurants/bars for awhile at night) |

| Comments: Very good place. From a hostel, it\'s just the price, because it\'s way better. Very big room, own shower and restroom. Really enjoyed and would certainly go there again. |

| Comments: we have a great time there, it made our Czech trip be a happier one! The host is so good to guide us the place in Prague and the room is very clean. Good location with metro system and near Mustek. We can have our own key for room. Anyway, we recommend it to the friends to Prague. |

| Comments: The Shelter is very centrally located in Prague, walking distance to most attractions, and the central rail station. The building and facilities are very old, but the room was clean and comfortable. Internet and kitchen are there, but no other amenities. Expect to pay in cash, credit card was not accepted. Overall a nice hostel and good experience. |

| Comments: Very clean accomodation. It was great to have a kitchen and internet available at all times of the day. The location can't be beat either, with the hostel only two blocks from Wenschelas Square. |

| Comments: Shelter Pension is located in an apartment building about 10 minutes off the metro. We took some time to look for the place as the display board of Shelter pension is not clearly displayed on the front door. We walked past it without realizing it was there (even with the help of GPS). Vladimir, the friendly guy who\'s supposed to check us in saw us walking past and came down to direct us back to the building. He runs the place together with his wife , Jitka. You can tell the husband-wife pair really put in a lot of dedication in running Shelter Pension. Our room is clean, big, and the furnishings are pretty new. It faces the courtyard so it\'s rather quiet at night, great choice if you want a good night\'s rest. The wall tiles in the toilet are a bit old, but the shower works great (comes with bathtub as well). There\'s a shared kitchen where you can do your own cooking (supermarket a few mins walk away). There\'s also a PC where you can surf the net for free (we relied on that to book our rooms online for the later part of our trip). Vladimir was humorous and he made us feel at home. He sat us down and pointed out the places of interests, grocery shops, etc, on a map for us. Note that there\'s no reception counter there, so be sure to inform him of your arrival time so that he can wait at the hostel for you to check in. We had a restful stay at Shelter Pension and I won\'t hesitate to stay at Shelter Pension again when I visit Prague. |

| Comments: THis is a great hostel to stay in - right in the centre of town. It is very clean, with great kitchen and bathroom facilities, and the rooms are huge.
The owners are really helpful and gave us a map when we arrived, pointing out all the attractions.
It also has free internet which is a real bonus!
Definitely recommend people stay here while in Prague. It's also conveniently located next to a bar that serves delicious burgers and other food (but it's really quiet so don't worry about that!) |
