| Comments: I really liked this guest house. It was close to everything, was comfortable, clean, and I like that it was more like an apartment than rowdy hostel. Agnes was super helpful when I checked in and gave me recommendations of things to do while in the city. |

| Comments: Not obvious from the outside - make sure you take the house number with you. One of a number of properties behind a large door next to a pub/bar. Friendly staff, will take HUF or EUR.
Good facilities - free internet (1 shared computer), shared kitchen with dishwasher (broken during our stay), fridge/freezer and variety of plates, cutlery etc. Colour themed rooms were reasonably large with modern furniture. |

| Comments: We stayed in the 2 person ensuite, shared bathroom, which was a great, 2 bedroom, full apartment separate from the rest of the hostel. Excellent location, and lovely little place. The woman working was very nice and very helpful. |

| Comments: This is a good property in a really good location. It is a one minute walk to the parliament house and to the Danube river. The property is modern, colourful and cleaned everyday. It is located in the safest area of Budapest also. Free internet access, kitchen and washing facilities were highly appreciated. My only suggestion would be to improve kitchen utensils etc. But this is a very good property. I highly reccomend. |

| Comments: The hostel is hard to find!!! Don't forget the adress! From outside, you just can find a small name on the bell button in the middle of 20 others!
The location is very good, close to the parlement and the basilique. Nice kitchen, clean big bathroom with hot water! and nice rooms too, quite clean. Towels and sheets are provided.
We just had a little problem : a few days after my booking : the manager e-mailed me that he finally had a booking (previous to mine...) for a big group and so he couldn't take us for the last night. He found another hostel for us but we lost our deposit...
Anyway, we had nice time there! |

| Comments: A nice, small guesthouse in a great location - it's only a 1 minute walk from the Parliament building and again, only 1 minute to a metro stop (the transport system is excellent).
The guesthouse itself is basic budget accommodation, but everything you need it to be - clean, warm, accessible and there's a kitchen area with cooker, microwave and fridge. The building is old and dilapidated-looking (my friend said it was 'Room with a View'-esque!) but the appartment is lovely - well-decorated. As it's so small, the guesthouse isn't staffed the majority of the time but this isn't a problem as you get given keys to the building. Checking out is a bit unconventional as there's not necessarily someone there at the time but it worked fine for us.
In all, Origo Guesthouse is definitely worht a look - a great place to stay if you're looking for somewhere quiet, but in a good location and at an excellent budget price. We'd highly recommend it. |

| Comments: We booked two double room of Origo on the trav and paid a deposit of 10%. The staff of Origo sent a e-mail to us and said that there were some problems from the hostel world, wishing us to share a four bed room. And they promised to give us a speicial price for 10 Euro instead of 15(alought a four bed room cost 10 Euro per personat the begining.) So we agreed to change our resevation with our friends. When we arrived, they asked us to pay about 2450 HUF(10Euro per person per night.) We already paid 6.41 Euro for a double room for 2 days on the hostel world . But they still insisted us to pay 10 Euro for each person. They said that the 6.14 Euro deposit is for hostel world not for them, so we had to pay it again. That really made me uncomfortable while staying in Origo.
And on the last when we are about to check out, none of the staffs were there. We would like to leave our laggauge there but were afraid if no one can open the door for us. Finally we should leave the door open, being afraid if our laggauge would be safe. |

| Comments: The right place if you are looking for a quiet, friendly place to stay with great location, close to the beautiful Danube bank. Staff was very kind and helpful. Note, that the reception is NOT non-stop, so it's worth to let them know if you will have longer delay, I didn' t ... but I had to wait only some 20 minutes for check in.
Next time I will stay longer here:) |

| Comments: This is a small guesthouse / hostel close to the major central sights of Budapest. The building was quiet for sleeping, the staff were polite and friendly, overall it was a nice place. Budapest is a fantastic city and is very tourist friendly. Stay here and hang out for a while in Budapest. You'll be happy that you did! |

| Comments: Disappointed about having to pack and move across town to a filthy apartment with a fold-out couch instead of the double bed we had paid for.
Met two other couples getting screwed around by you aswell. Trying to force older married couples onto bunk beds when they had booked a double. I'm glad I brought a copy of the agreed price as you had given the staff member present on our arrival a higher price. Wake up... |

| Comments: First of all, it was in the perfect location to go sightseeing, and also it's in one of the safest and the most beautiful area and yet the price was quite good.
The hostel was clean and has all the equipment I needed such as washing machine, kitchen, bath-tab and 2 bathrooms.
I was in the red room and it was nicely cordinated with towels, wardrobe,
etc and was very pretty.
I would recommend this guesthouse to anyone who's going to that area. |

| Comments: Great, clean and comfortable accommodation with super location close to everything!
Very good choice considering price, quality, location. We had a very nice tastefuly furnished, colorful room there, only 3 dbl rooms were booked out of the 4, and there were 2 bathrooms, so it was almost like we had private bathroom. We will surely come back! |
