Recommendation for everyone visiting Cannes.

Unfortunately the room was not very clean and the carpet stunk of mould and dog.The cleaner did not lock our room.Very noisie.The other problem was no parking at all but if you a special guest the owners will offer you parking on special deal offer.No help and no advise from owners regarding special events happening in Cannes.

A VERY UNPLEASANT thing is that they block a half of the sum to be paid for staying there on your credit card without any prior notice. A very unpleasant surprise for a traveller who has to limit his expenses (it is obvious that the majority of travellers who stay in such **star hotels do)! I still have not received the blocked money back (though it may be a peculiarity of my bank).

The man who runs the hostel is so sweet and will cator to your needs. The bedrooms are nice and clean and they privide you with towels, tv, soap, body wash.

Cannes is a small city and you can go by walking everywhere. The hotel is tree blocks away from the train station. The room is not very modern but is very clean.

But if you want to meet people and party every night, its not the right place. I am travelling alone and I felt so safe in there, I will go back there on my next vacation for sure.

We left our laundry arround the room to hang dry, and the housekeeper moved and rehung everything for us to help it dry quicker. We really appreciated that.

They called the police for us because we couldn't speak French. Be careful with the parking location close to the hotel. It is a parking lot at night but is used as a bazaar / market location in the morning. Do not park there.
