Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating - 5th May 2008 Couple 18-24 1/5 Comments: This place is absolutly awful. I don't even know where to start. There is no indication from outside that it is a guesthouse, so be sure to have the address handy. The place is simply a house that someone put a bunch of beds in. The rooms smell terrible, and there was only one little window in my room to open, which the owner would shut during the day, preserving the awful stench. the entire house is filthy. The sheets had disgusting stains on them and I doubt if they had been washed in quite a while. The owner/operator SPEAKS NO ENGLISH, and she doesn't seem to realize that everyone doesn't speak Italian. When we came back to the hostel on the first night there was someone else sleeping in my girlfriend's bed, whom the owner kicked out and then did not offer her new sheets. I travelled with my girlfriend, and we slept in the same bed, so the owner gave my bed away, and I couldnt ask for some of my money back because I don't speak italian and she doesn't speak english. The owner would come in the room in the middle of the night, between 1 and 4 AM, and turn on the lights, walk around the room looking at people and then leave. This happened all three nights I was there. The neighborhood that the guesthouse is in is terrible. It felt very unsafe to walk back to the hostel later than 10 PM. And it is pretty far from most of the touristy stuff, at least 15-20 minutes by underground. I would recommend a park bench before I would recommend this place.

I didn't get any recipt, no key either. the location was on a arab/russian getto, pretty scary. not recommended at all.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Australia 11th November 2007 Mixed Group 18-24 2/5 Comments: The place was difficult to find without any sign out the front (just a normal house). when we got there there was only one staff member present and they didnt speak any english which made check in very difficult and we had no idea of the facilities, nor were we given a key. the beds were terrible and the bathroom dirty. it was expensive for what it was. there were some longer stays who it may be more suited for as it is suppose to be quite cheap then.
