Congratulations to the photographer since the pics on the Internet have nothing to do with reality. Basically, there is no reception, bad smell in the whole hotel, extremely noisy since the street is busy with all bars. Hotel staff is not friendly at all. If you want to enjoy Frankfurt, don't stay there!

No English at the front desk, but quite friendly and willing to try and communicate. Very helpful , gave a morning wake up knock and walk to the bus stop. Free wireless a bonus. Breakfast included plus ham and cheese to make sandwiches and fresh apples.

Location at busy plaza intersection surrounded by bars and clubs. Adjacent / connected club played terribly LOUD music until 5:00 AM - impossible to sleep. No soap in WC. Radiators turned fully ON provided very little heat. Towel provided was abput large enough to dry a toy chihuahua. Room was small but comfortable. Good location for all night partiers who do not intend to sleep until day light hours. Otherwise, avoid it. I moved to the Youth Hostel a block away after one night ( Euros 40 ). Much better.

We arrived to find the police stopping a rowdy group of ganstas brawling and drunkin louts all over the street. They didnt speak any English and all seemed very unsafe. The police were inside doing something so weird.

It was definitely loud until the wee hours of the morning, but that's what we expected. Rooms were good enough for just staying the night and pretty clean. The hotel staff was nice and helpful but didn't speak English very well. It's hard to find parking if you show up late on a weekend.

They also insist that the room is paid for in cash so be sure to budget for that if you ever stay here. There's a bar that plays very loud hard rock until 4am Sunday nights next door so our room was a little on the noisy side. Would I stay here again? No. There's a nice looking hostel just down the road that would probably be better.

The location is great, short walk into town centre and river just a few minutes away. Not somewhere for families or a romantic weekend away, but perfect for friends travelling.

I took my 8yr old so we were in bed by 9ish. You have to make sure you're asleep by 9.30pm - 10pm otherwise the pubs and clubs surrounding the hotel keep you awake until the early hours. That being said the location is perfect. A stones through away from the centre of Frankfurt, plenty of places to eat and shop near by. Its a traditional building to which was 'cute'! No lift though so beware heavy suitcases!

I dont think the "shuttle service" exists. They also demanded cash only and when I said I had none and was about to leave, they pulled out the card machine. The location is good only if you will be out partying until past four AM, otherwise, the noise and lights will keep you up until then. No AC and very hot.

Europe was experiencing a heat wave and while the old building was charming, it also got really hot. No fans were offered to guests. It is also located on a street filled with pubs and clubs, so I didn't get a lot of sleep before catching my flight home.
