Comments: The rooms are pretty small. But in general is a nice hostel and with rooms in different buildings. Breakfast is a bonus. Only thing is that they require, even after your booking through Trav, your credit card details!!! So, what's the point of booking using HW??

Comments: Good: Affordable, clean, room serviced daily, decent location near British Museum, free internet (but one computer for many), front \"doorperson\" at all hours, delightful sitdown breakfast fully serviced with a complete meal, room had SOME character. There weren\'t any downsides other than pretty small rooms, but it didn\'t bother me. Also, the toilet is in an awkward location with the wall very close, barely leaving any leg room - can\'t be so easy for the vertically gifted if you know what I mean.

Comments: Extra plankets should be available for each person in the room ready in the closet. Standart of hostel was ok compared to cost!

Comments: It's your average Hostel, perhaps a little short on toilets and bathrooms. Staff were a great help! Always friendly and willing to give directions or assistance.

Comments: I chose this place because it had wireless internet. But easy to use it was not. From my roomI had to go down two flights of stairs, along the street 4 or 5 doors and then into the main building. I had to use the computer either standing up or on my lap as there were no other facilities provided. The room provided for use was a small common room with TV dominating. A quiter room was available but it only had a cushion to sit on. Drinkable water was not available in my room so - as with the wireless internet - I had to to the main building and collect a jug of water.

Comments: Pochi bagni per troppe persone! La mattina si affolla un pò. Stanze piccole, ma per dormire è più che sufficiente. Ottimo per giovani, tipo ostello. Ottimo english breackfast

Comments: A little dingy, probably cleaner than it seems, just that it's old (carpets, beds, etc.) Pretty small bed, shower. Nothing exceptionally good or bad.

Comments: Wasn't sure that the room locks were secure as I thought they could be opened with a credit card. Ours could not be locked from the inside. The tv never worked but it was a very pleasant clean room and the tv didn't worry us. Lovely breakfast. Many thanks to your friendly staff.

Comments: Except for the location, which is outstanding, I would not recommend St Athans. The street outside is too noisy, the rooms are way too small (even for London) and the building is overheated. Moreover, the staff are not helpful or friendly and there is no interaction between guests. It ididn

Comments: Aside from the wretchedly uncomfortable beds, I can't complain about much at all. The younger crowd can test the patience of someone my age (early 30s), but overall it was a great value!

Comments: The location is excellent, in easy walking distance between two tube stations. The room facing the street and with single glazed windows was fairly loud. The room (single) was large and had good furnishings. The breakfast (English) was good. Overall this is a perfectly acceptable place to spend a few days in London. My only real complaint is that I did not get a proper invoice for the full price of the rooms, only a receipt for the amount I paid on the premises (i.e. excluding the deposit), which means I am not going to be reimbursed in full by my employer.

Comments: The hotel is quite well located. I had quite an unpleasant feeling when checking in, because the personnel really tried to fiddle around with the exchange rate to make me pay as much as possible - as I paid with a card, they insisted I pay in euros, but with the exchange rate set by themselves, so in the end I paid in pounds - very strange. The 1-person room that I got was however so small that it reminded me of a prison carcer. Still it was possible to sleep there without any problem.

Comments: The location of St. Athans is right between Euston and King's Cross underground stations, walking distance to both, and from them you can acccess the whole of London, so there is nothing bad to say about the location. The staff was accommodating when we called on the day of our arrival and explained that we would like to check in 4 hours earlier than we had originally said, and they remained friendly throughout our stay. The cleanliness of the room was also good, the only reason I haven't voted excellent there is because of the shower, which was mouldy and kinda disgusting. I was seriously considering asking to borrow some soap and a scrub. Had we stayed for more than one night, I would have. I have rated Character as average, it was old and had the potential to be charming, but the word that came ot mind was "dingy". Still, the fireplace in the room saved it from being rated "poor". I gave a poor rating to "fun", but I wasn't expecting it to be fun, it's a cheap B&B, not an amusement park, so it wasn't something we missed. The security also got a "poor". We were on the third floor of a building with all wood interior, and there was no fire escape. Had the building caught fire, we would be dead. Apart from that we felt pretty secure, since I don't think anyone would climb all those stairs just to steal from people so poor they have to stay in a place like that, lol. The breakfast was included in the price, but was pretty much not edible. All in all, it is a clean bed to sleep in, in a very good location, but you get what you pay for and nothing more.

Comments: 2 blocks from Russell Square Tube stop. Rooms are extremely small but livable. many bathrooms to choose from. Breakfast room is happy with great service and tea but I am not an English breakfast fan. Staff is very friendly.

Comments: we booked for a suite (two-bedroom with a bathroom) but as we arrived, we got a two-bedroom with a bathroom whared with 5 other rooms. The manager said it was probably due to a problem on the web site and adviced to contact the internet booking agency, which I am doing right now. I want also to mention that we paid the price for a two-bedroom suite. Next time I will book on the phone to be sure I am betting what I want.

Comments: Good location as it is in zone 1 and near to British Museum. It is very convenience to tourist for sightseeing. However, the cleanliness is poor as I feel uncomfortable about the carpet and linen. The shared bathroom does not contain shower, only tap.

Comments: A nice bed and breakfast place. It is very clean. The big perk here is the full English breakfast (included) - it is a damn good breakfast. Located a couple minutes walk from Euston underground station (which is good, since it is close to the main attractions and is in Zone 1); however, there isn't much around the area, so you'll definitely need to take the subway to get anywhere useful... and the Underground is an expensive mofo. Still, you can't ask for much more than what St. Athans offers
