| Comments: Reasonable prices in a central location. Great if you simply need a place to sleep while exploring Dublin's pubs... |

| Comments: The Glen was full of unwelcome surprises. They got our booking wrong, for a start. We had to move rooms and then had to contend with a leaking ceiling and various broken bathroom fittings. The bath towels were the size of hand towels. I could go on (and on). Even budget holidays shouldn't be this much hassle. |

| Comments: Very convienently located to the centre. My one complaint was the water in the shower wasn't very warm, it was warmer from the tap in the sink. Otherwise not really much to complain about. |

| Comments: Pro's:A very good choice for a couple who want somewhere to stay for a quick trip away. 50 euros for a double with private bathroom, tv and a fried breakfast included, is about as good as you're gonna get for a couple. 10 mins walking distance from the heart of town.
Con's: security-wise I wasn't that happy with the fact that you had to leave your key every time you left the building, but when you collected it again, no one asked for any form of proof that it was actually you room. |

| Comments: We stayed in the new building at the back and we loved that the room had a balcony. The room was very clean, had all the facilities we were promised to have, and - we weren't expecting to see our towels changed every day, so we were quite impressed by that. The staff was very kind and effective - the breakfast was served within a couple of minutes and it was a good breakfast too. The fact that the reception in oped all night long was really convinient. The location is brilliant and overall we loved the Glen guesthouse. We will recomend it our friend and we would stay here again if we visit Dublin in future. |

| Comments: The shower leaked all the way into the bedroom and wet all my clothes. Since only there for the weekend, I ended up with wearing one set of clothing the whole weekend! Not happy but was in a brand new building. Happy with everything else however. |

| Comments: We loved Glen Guesthouse! Our room and bathroom were clean and kept clean daily (we were in an ensuite in the new addition). The breakfasts were very good, and the dining room charming, with many interesting guests to watch and listen to! (Sorry about the prepositional ending.)The staff was always friendly and helpful. Would happily stay here again. It is only a 3-minute walk from the two main bus/train stations, and within walking distance of many of the lovely sights of Dublin. Noisy neighbors were the only downer - but hey, it's a HOSTEL! Well worth the price. |

| Comments: The staff weren't very welcoming - we were expecting some friendly Irish hospitality!
Also, the room wasn't prepared properly e.g we had to request tea and coffee as it hadn't been put in our room.
The B&B was in a very good location. Overall an average experience. |

| Comments: Located at North of the Laffey river, very close to commercial and shopping Talbot street and to central O'Connel Street, 10 minutes to Temple Bar by foot (less than a km). Good Location, close to everything!
Gentle Staff, good breakfast served from 8.00 to 9.30, possibility to choose between the Continental and Irish one, but the Continental one is not guaranteed every day. Clean and comfortable house. Competitive price with brakfast included.
Recommanded!!
Consigliato!! |
