There a teenagers in the rooms with the music loud, making noise and screaming all the night. I don't reccomend it.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Australia 25th August 2007 Couple 25-30 2/5 Comments: Our tea cups weren't washed and left outside our door for 3 days, The head house cleaning lady walked in on us at 9 am one morning, just opened our door with her key then no apology at all - as i was sitting up in bed talking to my partner, both naked, it was extremely rude. The elevator stunk so badly we ended up taking the stairs instead or holding our breath if we had luggage to carry. The Bar staff were fantastic, as were the reception staff. House cleaning were just terrible, and the bedroom door has a note on how to lock it for extra security, yet the housecleaning lady just walked on in with her key for no reason. Nice area, but not really anything around for travellers or youngens if looking.

But I was surprised how good it was compared to the price. Good value. I've been in worse hotels in London. Monton House is recommendable choice for football travellers like myself.

However, we only paid £30 for a double room so we weren't expecting anything fancy, it was just a place to rest our head. However, certainly not the cleanest place, there was toe nail clippings on the carpet, the bathroom was in need of a good scrub and the towel had dirty marks on it. Again, I didn't complain because of the price however in reflection even though it was so cheap you should get a reasonable amount of cleanliness!
