The staff is super-helpful, everything is clean, and anything you could need is within walking distance. Most of the bathrooms are co-ed, which took some getting used to, but other than that I have no complaints. There's a beautiful old cemetary just up Candlemaker Row, and I recommend a walking tour if you have the time... Such incredible history.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and you can't beat the location. The walking tour that was provided was free and very interesting. The amount of free things and discounts that you get when you stay at this hostel are fantastic and are definitely one of its biggest perks. We couldn't have chosen a better hostel to stay at.

I can't imagine any way to make it better except some space for clothes in the shower room.

The lookers in the room are not really sure (as well as the looks that they provide you) but they have a sure luggage storage room (1euro every time you open the closet). Standard breakfast. Polite personal but not really informed about the city services. Relatively clean. They have several shared bathroom so it is not explainable why they should keep all the bathroom shared man and women.

To top it off there was an annoying australian running up and down the halls screaming all night and wrestling with his buddy. I would not stay at this place again.

The behaviour of other guests almost ruined our stay. 2 of our 3 nights were badly disturbed despite earplugs. A friend was verbally abused when she asked a group of lads, who at 4am were shouting & wrestling (!) in the corridor, to quieten down. Sure, hostels are noisy but Budget Backpackers could promote more considerate behaviour. Why let a selfish few spoil the fun of others?
