Highly recommend the St Christopher's group though. Excellent breakfast where you could load up for the day - basic toast, boiled eggs, cheese and salami but made me very happy! Also they give really good advice on what to get up to. The apartment was good if you're not really into the party aspect of it, you could escape away.

Staff not overly helpful. Don't bother hiring the pricey, rundown bicycles from the hostel - instead head to Take A Bike, Neustadtische Kirchstr. 8 10117 where the lovely staff will hook you up with rad wheels. Berlin is fantastic - one of the best cities I visited in 4 months of travel!

It was spotless on arrival but it is a part of a hostel so expect noise. Great kitchen & a bath! It was a good loctaion too in East Berlin right beside a U station. Also got a decent breakfast downstairs in the hostel. Overall big thumbs up for the low bugdet traveller whos lookin for a little luxury or has had enough of hostels!!! :-)

My boyfriend and I stayed in one of the shared apartments. Everything was clean and new and in perfect working condition. The kitchen was great and a supermarket very close by. The breakfast in the morning was perfect to get you going for the day. Great area aswell.

The kitchen is well equipped, you definitely can cook!! The buffet breakfast is very very good. And the hotel is right in front of Rosa-Luxemburg statio, so it is very easy to travel. I would recommend it!!!

Staff was extremely helpful and printed out information for me to help navigate the city. Great casual bar and pub-like dining downstairs was excellent for nights we didn't feel like searching for a place to eat. Drinks were cheap and good! Apartments were very clean and very well kept...great to have your own space and for such a cheap price!

When we were there 9:30 there were no more eggs or oranges or juice left. For bread we had to ask personnel to bring us some.
