The rooms are extremely nice and the free breakfast is great. The owners were nice enough to drive me to the train station themselves, which I really appreciated (not having to call a cab was great).

The family that runs the hotel is extremely kind and helpful, thanks to them for the lovely time.

It is only 15km from Salzburg and 14km from Berchtesgaden. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel to anyone and look forward to going back very soon!

Maybe I am just an idiot, but at the time of reserving did not see this coming. It is a great place, but about 40 minute train ride outside of the city and a hassle for backpacking (and wanting to eat cheap).

The staff were very friendly and the breakfast fantastic. Other then a fantastic authentic cafe and lots of different walks, there isn't much to do and not alot was suggested.
