Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Australia 15th September 2008 Mixed Group 41+ 2/5 Comments: The taxi driver told us 500,000 people lived in Bari. 100,000 of those people drove their cars at great speed past our window between 10pm & 2pm on that Sunday night. Had to have windows open as very hot and air con was additional 10 Euro. Would recommend only because of proximity to station. Beds very squeaky, mattress still had plastic on???

It is on a nice street, except at the end with the trash and homeless. It is near shopping, but away from the historic district. We took the 20 bus from the port to the train station and it is less than 5 minutes from there. The rooms are non-smoking but the guy there is a chimney and fumigates the place. The bathroom was nice, but no shower curtain so it gets wet. I would stay again.

The 5 locking system on the doors was interesting......maybe they were a bank vault at some stage??? Spoke very klimited english but was clean and decorated with Ikea.

It looked very clean and very big rooms! 2mins from the station and seemed close to town.

It's 15 min. walking to the center by via corso cavour, a nice shopping street that leads to the piazza del ferrarese and piazza mercantile, the best places to start exploring Bari at anytime. The room and bathroom was clean, and the guy that received us was very kind. Our room was a bit noisy but not enough to break the sleep.

Approximately a 25 minute walk from the ferry terminal, maybe less if you know *exactly* which way you're going. The breakfast was good but not great. The owner smokes inside, but the room did not smell of cigarettes and was clean. The common room wasn't so nice though. We don't think it was worth what we paid and wouldn't stay there again, but we really hate the smell of cigarettes.

Nice rooms..very clean, nice breakfast, good service. Not accomodating however with leaving luggage..had to bring it with us from 1200 onwards. Also had to book a whole room for 4 people when we were only 3. Overall really nice place to stay however.

Only problem was I payed them up front but I got charged on my credit card as if I didnt show up and now am having problems getting that cleared.

The rooms, however, are nice and new. No air conditioning. Only one real bathroom. No good service for the money.

It think for italian standards a good choice, also because the staff is friendly, we could leave our backpacks there some more hours and il suo caffè è buonissimo.

We got a clean large room and break fast was better than other hotels, but air-conditioning wasn't included the price, so we slept windows opened. That was nightmare. We were being bitten by mosquitoes all the night. We couldn't sleep at all. Apart from this, everything was ok.

However it was quite noisy during the night as it's on a main road. Didn't get to try the breakfast cuz we left too early to have it so can't comment on that. Good location a short walk from the station.
