| Comments: When I got there they told me they didnt have a room for me, so they brought me to another hotel. Pretty bad considering I booked this place after reading the reviews here. No excuses or sorries from the guy. So he walked us to a hotel (Elena) right next to the train station. Not the location I wanted. No water in the room so we got another room the next night. Room itself was good. We got no breakfast, even though I think that was included in the Concordia? |

| Comments: Arrived at Hotel Concordia at approx 9pm on 18 Oct - there was no room for us although we had booked for 2 nights - taken to another Hotel - Sicilia - receptionists in both hotels English not good. Given a small double bed for first night at Hotel Sicillia then moved 2nd night. On 2nd night my bum bag was snatched as I was going through the door to hotel - there was a delay in letting me in and outside hotel very badly lit. The staff were disinterested in the fact I had just been mugged and gave no help about contacting the police or their whereabouts. |

| Comments: I can't comment too much because they had actually overbooked and had to send us down the road to another hotel.
The front desk clerk was not very friendly though and spoke no english so it took a while to ascertain what was going on. |

| Comments: Very central but on Via Roma which is an extremely noisy street. However, if you can sleep through that, it's good value for money and my room came with a charming balcony |

| Comments: Excellent location, could hardly be better. Really good value for money in terms of accommodation. Was pleasently surprised by an upgrade to a private ensuite for the same price. |

| Comments: The Concordia was a great surprise as we were not expecting much from it. The location is perfect on the busiest street and center of Palermo (Via Roma). The double bed room was large and so was the bathroom. The room was very clean and well presented. The nights were noisy due to it's location, but this hotel has great character, plus very helpful and welcoming staff.
I can't recommend this budget hotel enough. It far exceeded my expectations and is a certain choice when I plan to visit again soon. |

| Comments: Staff spoke no english but biggest issue was the noise from the outside street. No double glazing and window didnt even shut properly so kept awake most of the night. |
