The hostel is clean, but in the middle of a red light district, with lots of gogo bars. It's ok for groups of travellers, but don't go there when you travel alone.

Security concerns when we first got there at 2pm and our (and 4 other peoples) keys were pinned to the door. It is an apartment that's been turned into a hostel. It has a kitchenette at best. There is a compulsory lock out (i.e. leave the hostel) between 10 and 2 for cleaning. Price was OK and not too far to walk to town but not that much going for it.

Don't use this washing machine, dont throw up in the sink, recycle plastic here, clean up this when you use is etc etc etc. The hostess has a very strange kind of humor, and off office hours you're on your own since there is no front desk. Not really in downtown Vienna, it takes a 15 to 20 minute walk to get to the museumquartier where the centre starts, then its another 20 minutes to get to the centre.

Not bad location, around 10 min walk from Westbahnof station. Only downpoint was no luggage storage, but you can store stuff in the station for E2.50.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Ireland 26th July 2008 Male 18-24 4/5 Comments: Would highly recommend this hostel, expecially if u are arriving at the Westbahnhof- its only four stops on the no 5 tram and from the station u can get the U-Bahn to the very centre of Vienna in 5 minutes- all in all it takes about 15 mins to get to the city from the door. Its an apartment converted into a hostel with three dorms, the beds are very comfy and made for u every day, staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Showers and toilets always clean

No stove or oven so cooking meals are hard but very clean and nice. Not really a party place but the lady who works there is very helpful and gives you all sorts ofinfo about the area so that is good.

When we got there all of the keys were taped to the front of the door, so make sure to lock your stuff up. It's a nice little apartment hostel for the quiet traveler. Very clean but only one bathroom!

The room was supposed to be for 10 person but then we got a room just for the 4 of us (we had to move one bed from another room).The room are nice and the hostel is clean. Drawbacks are the only bathroom (but we always took showers at night) and the staff almost absent. The position wasn\'t that bad. I\'d come back.
