Comments: I changed my accomodations for my last night at this hostel considering I started traveling solo. The write up said a 4 bed female dorm and it actually ended up being a run down cheap tent with shady tin bunk beds and filthy old matresses. There were ants running around everywhere inside and no linens were provided. When I went to front desk to hire linen they offered napki thing temporary sheets. (I should have kept the blanket from the airplane because it would have provided better warmth.) It turned very cold at night and without any insulation it was a terrible sleep. Definitely research further into what type of room you choose at this hostel complex. On the plus side, the chill out area was fun and they even provided sheesha. The disco which opened at 1:00 also turned out to be quite fun as well!

Comments: Cheap to book, did not know what to expect, but room was great! Soap, TP, pillows, bed sheets, + blankets provided, + all kept very clean. Staff helpful - give bus schedule + metro map, + called taxi co. for me so I could leave safe at 6AM. Have a bar, + restaurant (quite fancy). 5 min. away from Ostia Antica, great ancient town. Quite far from Rome (about 45 min. from bus stop to metro to forum.) If Rome is your main destination + you only have 1-2 days, stay somewhere closer to the city.

Comments: Great for having fun, far away from the city, though. Generally, very tidy and cosy, but not for people looking for a quiet leisure...

Comments: Hello! We´ve had very nice days at your location, your choice of products is attractiv, the shuttles are perfect! Our bungalow has been nice as well, but we missed a (little) storage rack. In the summertime it would be great if there were a directly way to the strand (possibility to pass the gate). Thank you for your hospitality Kirsten Lange

Comments: This is the most amazing camp site we have ever stayed in! It is almost like a city of its own, everything at your finger tips! It takes about 40 mins on the train to the city but very easy. Only small complaint would be that the bathroom in the cabin was a bit dirty but nothing really to worry about. It was cheap acommodation and the food, drink etc on the premises were very cheap also! We would definately stay here again!

Comments: I slept in a tent all by myself so it was a bit lonely as there ws no common area for everyone. It got very cold at night, and i found a mouse in my tent. it is good if you want to see a bit of the countryside but if you would really like to get to know rome, pay the extra and stay in the heart of the city.

Comments: Good place to hang out in the cute little cabins, but really fair from Rome (like 3 subway different subway rides). Hard to party because you need to catch all the subs and the last shuttle bus back to the camp site. Not such a great place if your 18 or up because you cant party there, the whole place is crawling with 12 year olds. But cheap, clean, air conditioing and cool if you want to hang out with 12 years olds. Not so great for 20 somethings who want a night on the town.

Comments: THEY ARE NOT DORMS. Our booking says dorms but they put you in a large tent with bunk beds. And its freezing at night!! This is a great fun, place if you dont mind being about 45mins from rome centre. there is a free shuttle to the nearest train into town. the drivers on shuttle are really friendly and punctual (most of the time) The staff at reception are a bit moody and they didnt even offer any compensation, even though we were expecting a dorm and instead got a cold tent. Try not to go when they have school groups. night mare.

Comments: the italian lady at the front desk with the horse teeth went out of her way to be a b1tch. but the younger italian guy at the reception was very nice which almost made up for it but it is only 5 euro a night , cant beat that..

Comments: I have been there just one hour because if I stayed I would not be able to catch my fly back to Spain from Rome airport. Anyway I had to pay total price for the room. It was a pity. It was almost empty, and lots of attractions already closed. I am not able to say too much about this place. Thank you. Bye. M&P

Comments: The Camping is very nice and unique because of the Castle in the middle and wild boars behind the fence :) Also there is the best Pizza I ate in Italy during my trip. Although the Capmping is situated quite far from Rome there are free Shuttles every 30 mins to nearest metro station so it takes less than hour to reach centre of Rome. The only bad thing is that there are lots of teenage Germans making incredible noises during the night.

Comments: I arrived at midnight and they drove me to my room. I paid less than $8 for the one night and it was well worth every penny of it. I arrived on a Thursday night and there was a party going on up there. Pool looked Great and the Jaccuzzi was the highlight of my stay! All this and breakfast too for less than breakfast most places!!! * * * * * (Hostel 5 Stars) * * * (Normal Hotel, 3 Stars). Normal Hotels do not have tents! Thank You for a Wonderful Time and I am looking forward to going to Rome again soon and staying at this site too!!!

Comments: It's against italian rules to advertise a tent for a room and the "female dorm" advertised as a 4 beds room was infact a filthy tent with 4 filthy beds and the floor was attached to the cover only with a few rubber bands so any snake or other animal could get inside quite easily. Also the showers were freezing cold. The only good thing was the free shuttle bus to Colombo station. You might want to call the Guardia di finanza if they give you a tent for a room, doesn't matter if the cost is low, the advertising has to be correct.

Comments: This Hostel is not appropiated to couples. We booked a 2 bed private room and we had to stay in a small bungalow with bunk beds! There are many pupils on class trips so there is a lot of noise in the evening and at night. Prices for meals and drinks are okay, meals are good.

Comments: Castelfusano is very nice campsite! Its big and fully fitted up.. they have even bank-mashine. Staff was very kind and helpful, even when we used the cheapest accomodation.. Tents for 5euro/night were ok, with working fridge and light, common bathrooms big and clean, no problem with hot water. I fully recommend! But honnestly, journey to central rome takes 90 mins...

Comments: the bungalow we stayed in was surprisingly comfortable with fridge and our own bathroom. we really enjoyed our stay. the campsite is a lot outside of rome, approx. travel time one hour, but it was worth it. our only problem was the super unfriendly staff, they seemed to be bothered by helping us, the only exceptions were the bus drivers.

Comments: Although CC Castelfusano was a nice enough place to stay, this review is more based upon facts experienced AFTER our stay was completed (7th sep - 11th sep). When home we discovered to have forgotten a set of keys and a usb-memory stick hidden in our designated cabin. Hours after leaving and well back in Norway we so forth called CC Castelfusano asap to inform about this issue. The representative in regards here was extremly rude, abruptive and was not at all willing to listen to our pr

Comments: The shuttle service was the best thing about the camping, without it we would suffer a lot because of the long distances, it helped us a lot to save a lot of time and money. Thank you very much Any time we want to go to Rome, we would choose your camp and we will recommend it to our friends, too. all the best Katalin Kristof
