The balcony was a nice touch as well. My only complaint was that the shower head was on a snake pipe with no way to mount it on the wall. Here's a tip to solve the above. Look for the two knobs located up high in the shower. To mount the shower head you'll need two things: duct tape and a little creativity ;)

Very small and very noisy room with window to a backyard, me and partner were kept awake both nights due to loud voices and noise. Overpriced and no information about breakfast/internet/bar facilities. Wouldnt stay here again

We got a nice room at the topfloor with a nice balcony fronting the street. We liked it and thougt it would be all right. But for us the night was too noicy. So next morning I asked for a more quiet room. We got an apartment down the road for the same price. That was excellent. Quiet, secure, and even better located.

But be warned the staff speak little to no english, so have that phrase book handy. But they were helpful once they worked out what you wanted. Its right near the shopping strips and about a 15 minute walk to the beach. So don't stay here if you want to be RIGHT on the beach, but stay here if you don;t mind a small walk there. Its a nice walk anyway down a long park.

Also there was a lovely cafe underneath the hotel where the local civil serveants from the building across eat. Real part of city life, Staff were freindly and helpful in the hotel fair play Juan.. The beach in malaga is fine ,saw bad reviews but it holds a blue flag and is good for swimming water is very clean
