This is a HOTEL, and it's easier to spot a yellow ferrari logo from afar, on the right side of the direction of travel, before you press the bell to alight across a pizza/kebab restaurant. Hotel is 1 minute by foot from that restaurant.

But this was not a hostel which I was lead to believe when I booked as I intended to use my YHA (youth hostel association) membership for obtaining a discount. Dissapointed that they advertise them through hostel world but claim not not to be a hostel!

The directions given by the hotel are lousy, but getting there is pretty easy: Walk out of the Innsbruck main train station and cross Sudtirolerstrasse... turn left and walk along Sudtiroler (crossing Heiliggeist) until you find a stop for bus #4176 with service to Zirl. It's a twenty minute trip - get out across from the pizza shop after crossing a small bridge, and continue walking in the same direction the bus was traveling until you see the hotel on your left. Fare is 2.80 one-way, or 11.00 for a week-long pass.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating USA 26th May 2007 Female 25-30 4/5 Comments: the staff was not helpful in giving directions to the hotel. we arrived late at night at the train station and had called the night before for directions/tips. the women who spoke to me was very short and directions consisted of "take a train to tyrol and walk from train station." she knew we were coming in late and that we were 3 girls. she failed to mention that the train stations consists of a platform and that it would be pitch black & a 1 mile walk.
