On Check out the price had gone up to 50 euros. We were told we had to pay the full amount not less the 10 percent that we had paid to book online because she didnt receive any of that. Not great and never again!!

Our apartment was beautiful; quiet, clean, spacious and very reasonably priced. We will stay there again if we go back to Budapest!

The venue was ideal for our purpose. we were central to Budapest and its many attractions and near the Metro and onward transport links for our daily travel to the Sziget Festival and further afield. Our hosts Ena and Sandor were especially kind and helpful.

The houselady Enna is possibly overworked and too busy to look after guests and put in extra efforts even if she has the will. She did provide us with 2 fans, which i think is not a big deal considering the room had hardly any ventilation.

Though the sheets were washed, they were quite old and torn too. All in all could have been a sunny cheerful place but was quite the opposite. No internet facility was available, in fact no other facility was available. One has come to expect to make at least a cup of tea in the morning. There was only one solitary tea bag with no more forthcoming.

Only one drawback for me & that was that our apparment did not have a shower - it was a hose attached to the bath - no shower curtain. Other than that - I would highly recommend this guesthouse!

We left as soon as we found the Marco Polo which was like a 5 star hotel compared to Garibaldi.Would not reccomend to anybody. I also think it scandalous that we should pay you 27€ for that broom cupboard. We would be happy to send you the real photos, we felt very cheated. Any comments from you?
