The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The hostel is clean and also very quiet. Although some doors can only be closed with brute force, which sometimes wake you up during the night. There are no activities/fun, but just to sleep it is perfect. Beds are very good, the best I ever had and I travelled a lot in Europe.

The staff is very helpfull and spreak fluent English. the rooms are good and wide and have airco, tv, and (perhaps) a bathroom. I would recommend this hostel to every one! it\'s not expensive and it gives you a warm welcome in the city. I consider to go back to Valencia and of cours I wil stay in Hostal El Cid again. Don\'t doubt about staying here, just book it!

The bathroom was too small and it smells there. The staff let us change rooms and the 2 room was bigger and the bathroom was bigger and a bit cleaner.

Not much opportunity to meet other travellers. Cleaning of bathroomfloors could be better, saw the same piece of plastic laying at the bathroom on the fourth floor for 4 nights. but decoration was very nice, rooms were very clean, good sheets and towels provided, we can recommend this hostel.
