Comments: This was a terrible place to stay! The room reaked of smoke (isn't it against the law to smoke in public buildings?) and we were kept awake until 2am by the noisy people upstairs who we believe live there (owner's relatives maybe). Terrible, terrible, terrible!!

Comments: Nice accommodation! The bathroom was nearly new and the bed was comfortable. Form the bus stop to the hotel it was only 2-3 minutes to walk. Sometimes you could hear the neighbours, but it was not really disturbing.

Comments: This was a nice bed and breakfast. The room was nice and clean with a good bed. The shared bathroom was also clean. Breakfast was great and the staff was friendly and attentive. The only problem is that it is quite a trip to get there (I ended up getting a cab).

Comments: The room was not ready when we arrived at the hostel in the evening. They replaced it with a different one after we complained. We found bugs in the bedroom's carpet and spiders in the bathroom.

Comments: Hotel quality rooms for hostel price. Not too far from town centre, easily assessable by bus servicing the area every 10 minutes. The owner went all his way to help us when we were having difficulty even after we checked out. Highly recommended for backpackers who want hotel rooms for a change.

Comments: The cost/quality ratio is awesome. This is not a "backpagers" hostel but a cheap, clean and familiar one. If you drive, the free parking is helpful.

Comments: We stayed in a house across the road from the main building. Unfortunately the walls were really thin, so it was noisy as we were next to the stairs. The staff were really nice, and it was cheap and clean. Good for the budget traveller, who can put up with the noise of other guests.

Comments: Good and rich breakfast, even if only sweet. We arrived earlier than stated, but the owner arranged for us to have our room ready in 30 minutes. he offered us a larger ensuite room for a very little supplement, we had to refuse cause on a budget. he was also very helpful in giving us all the information and maps we needed for our stay in town.

| Comments: cost about £9 to get there by taxi from birmingham centre but that was in traffic, bus was only £1.50 so thats a better option. nicely decorated, clean room but smelt a bit of stale smoke and door was hard to unlock.
staff were very friendly, very good value for money. |

Comments: Very good service and excellent room. Only problem was a screaming and shouting group of people in the room below who kept me up for 3-4 hours straight, although the hotel did eventually call the Police.
