Maybe a little bit too small, but this is normal for that kind of housing. And about the location. It just seems very far. In real life with Oyster card (so you can drive to hotel from underground station by bus) location is very convinient and even better than closer to center so do not be afraid from this.

Wanted a clean cost effective place to stay and it hit that target. Asked about booking for 2009 already. Very happy, it is about a 10 min walk from station to the B&B OK for us as we didnt mind walking.

Araba and the staff are so so friendly and you feel totally welcome from the minute you step foot in the front door. The location is fantastic (easy access to the city centre via. the Northern line), shops and restaurants near by, a bus station directly outside the front of the lodge, great breakfast, totally comfortable and clean....I can\'t wait to return!! Being an 18 year-old female in an unfamilar city - Araba and the staff made sure I was ok and really looked out for me. The Balham Lodge is the place to go!!! Excellent, excellent, excellent!!!

Staff were super helpful and friendly. We stayed here twice and had two different rooms. Both were very well appointed, comfy beds, nice bathrooms etc. Will stay here whenever I need accommodation in London. Only 10min walk to tube but a regular bus does it in 2min.

We have different expectations to a stay in London, to me this was a perfect location and all the fun I needed. A bit of advice to you if you like to go jogging, bring your trainers because there is a big lovely park right next to the guest house. Enjoy your stay.

When I asked form something the response was immediate and constructive, the rooms are large and comfortable and the policies both sensible and generous. I highly recommend this B&B and will definitely stay there again myself.

The staff is extraordinarily friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and there\'s full English breakfast too. The location is not bad at all (bus service is very helpful, although not always very punctual), you can easily get to the city centre within half an hour. It would be difficult to find better accomodation at this or any other price.
